I spotted an enemy player on a high ledge and swooped in to dish-out a smackdown only to be thunderstormed off of the pinnacle and I fell to my death. (x5) lol

What a "tail-between-your-legs" moment that was.

So, being that I began these characters last September, I didn't do the daily grind to raise my rep with the skyguard for the cloak.

If you do, is there a quick way to "equip" and "use" instantly to prevent this from happening again.

Nope, there is a 30 sec cooldown after equipping before you can use it.

But if you have high level engineering on all your characters you can enchant any cloak to be a parachute cloak, thus not hurting your stats as much.

Just know that you should never attack any character capable of knocking you back or off your mount when they are in a high up position. I was solo farming nodes one time when a group of ally came up and tried to kill me and I hit TS, of course, being the MBer they didnt fall to their deaths. Instead they got stuck on the geometry and then walked over and slapped me down. I was pissed, stupid bugged skill.
