I've no idea what you mean by this, the rest is clear but, does the boss stay targetable for you once he has cast the first insanity? For me he just dissappears when the double insanity spawns. Or maybe I have to get him to precisely 40% and right when he casts the first insanity then a hit to get him below 40% in a split second so he starts casting the second one after that?

I group up because if I get a double insanity I have a few seconds time to kill at least 4 visages per character without getting overrun and need aoe for that.


The DK was frost spec when we tried it. But he just dies so quick.
You will get both insanities at the same time if you don't kill him before the 2nd goes off. Basically, we pulled bloodlusted/EMed etc.

0-10 seconds - popping cooldowns, flame shock + LB spam
10-15 seconds - first insanity cast time - LVB here, LB spam
15 second - first insanity done casting, group disappears - you loose all totem buffs not from that particular player, visages will spawn at this point but if he's under 35% (may be wrong on the exact %) he'll stay targetable as he casts the 2nd insanity , and continue nuking as he does his 2nd cast.
15-20 seconds - second insanity cast - burn burn burn, you want to get him from 33%->dead before this goes off. If it doesn't, it's not the end of the world, but it is a little harder.

What i mean is that if you have your shaman grouped up, when that first set of 4 visages spawn on you, they'll all immediately thunderstorm you around. You don't want this to happen becuase you want to be able to cast during this period on the targetable Herald. Visages do spawn from where the player is so if you're shaman are spread out > 15 yrds, the visages will choose to lightning bolt you, instead of thunderstorming you - allowing you to continue being nuke happy on Mr. Herald.

Is that a littler clearer or am I just babbling?

And to your DK tank - when the visages spawn, all he should do is immediately pop AMS and raise dead. and run LOS to your shamans (in any of the cubby holes around the room) all the visages will have to run los to him where he can drop a dead and decay and howling blast. As the shaman are casting he just runs around the pillar of of LOS. Visages are stupid and will stand in the death and decay trying to nuke a target who's running LOS - and if he does get caught in a thunderstorm/out in the open he has his pet to Death Pact.

When i tried to stand in the open in take out the shamans one by one, it was awful. This way reminds me of LOS druids in S4 arena, but it works. I play unholy, so I usually just get an icy touch and pets all the shaman on me, and then play the LOS game rinsing between DND and Blood Boil cackling at myself - he can just use HB when it's not on rune CD and cackle just as happily.

Worse comes to worse on our failed attempts we'd get him to 7-8% during the visage casts, but I can't keep my shaman AND DK up at the same time unfortunately so we'd have to get him to 0 before the 2nd insanity went off.
