Weird, no I get both insanities at the same time.

At 70% he starts to cast the first one, during the cast I get him to around 30% then insanity goes off and suddenly there's 6 shamans and 2 dk's per character to fight in one insanity. (8 bursting shammies for the DK )

Keeping the shaman all grouped up means that the visages will all appear on you, and thunderstorm you around and cancel those crucial casts to get him to 30% during the first insanity, so he casts the 2nd and stays targetable
I've no idea what you mean by this, the rest is clear but, does the boss stay targetable for you once he has cast the first insanity? For me he just dissappears when the double insanity spawns. Or maybe I have to get him to precisely 40% and right when he casts the first insanity then a hit to get him below 40% in a split second so he starts casting the second one after that?

The way I see it he casts insanity at 70% and 40%. If you get him to below 40% the first cast just does a double insanity, but he doesn't cast twice.

I group up because if I get a double insanity I have a few seconds time to kill at least 4 visages per character without getting overrun and need aoe for that.


The DK was frost spec when we tried it. But he just dies so quick.

edit: Oh and for targeting in insanity I just have a /targetnearestenemy whatever thingy in my dps macro's as extra so they keep dpsing an enemy regardless of being with or without the 'leader'.
