Not a huge deal, since they are being replaced with 2 comparable achievements related to Ulduar.
You still have plenty of time to get the current ones now as well. 3.1 is still -at least- a month away, knowing how fast Blizzard works.
They released 3.0.8 half baked.... they may do the same with 3.1
3.08 was still on the PTR for 2 months as well, and contained no content updates.

I think 8 weeks is a pretty conservative timeframe.
