Quick Demise of Herald Volashz and Less rabi seem unboxable to me. Intense cold is very easy to do if you do it 2 at a time. You can 3 man the boss and let 2 chars stand at the zone in out of range of the aura, they will get the achievement. Magma totems deffinately work very well for the Mutiple Personality achievement as well. Also on Watch Him Die we killed the first watcher's adds, pulled and killed the 2nd watchers adds, then left the 3rd watcher ( far right one ) and burned the boss, takes some luck though. Had a friend playing his prot pallie tanking but I was 4 boxing for that one.
Less-rabi is very boxable but you need either a) a lot of luck landing the last interrupt or b) a mage. As for the Volashz encounter, I'm pretty sure you're right. At least I don't see how it would be possible. It might require a special group setup even when singleboxing (warrior with reflect etc.) - I guess it's one of those achievements I'll just have to singlebox five times :-|

Edit: Thinking about it, the key to the Volashz achievement would be killing the adds quickly, which is harder for a multiboxer, since each char is in it's own "phase", but on second thought, maybe this would be possible with good targetting macros? If they are somehow placed with their backs to a wall and has a target macro for that specific encounter, maybe it could be possible? The adds have 12k, but with decent gear you can burn pretty quick through 12k hp. Guess I'll have to try and test it. Really need those bracers anyway :P

With current shammy DPS you can burn LessRabi pretty quickly before he is doing his transform too fast -- the first 2-3 times you can wind/earthshock it (I wouldn't flameshock at all one one guy at least to keep the CD always up) and with lust at start you should be able to burn him fast enough.

There IS a trick however, dunno if it was fixed in 3.08 but if you have a rogue or mage what you do is stack your guys on one side of the room away from the stairs up, have a rogue or mage pull the boss from the other side (near stairs up) and run up the stairs quite a bit, as the boss runs towards the puller he will transform after a little bit, at that point the mage/rogue vanish/invis, at the same time the rest of the team moves into the path back and aggros the boss (now a rhino) while he's running back. The mage/rogue runs back and rejoins the fight, you do the entire thing while he is in rhino form and you get the achievement since he technically didn't "change" the entire fight. Of course, this might have been fixed in 3.08.

I'll try out the Nexus tips next time I'm over there. I also am curious if anyone is doing heroic occulus after the vehicle changes, haven't heard a thing on this forum about that instance.

I spent 2-3 hours today in UP trying to get those achievements, the first boss one was easy, just pulled a abom to the alter and DPSed it down to 20% or so before switching to boss. Wiped 5-6 times on skadi trying to do the "reset, fight in room" method, was able to bring him down every time in one pass but too many adds were up and it was too chaotic, will have to revisit that one later -- just did it the regular way of moving forward slowly and brought him down (no drake, qq).

I just read up on quick demise tactics on wowhead and it seems it's possible to burn him down. If your gear is good enough. I'll def. be trying this tomorrow.

"Unless you push the boss below 33% during the first Insanity cast which is like 5 seconds, if you manage to do this (not that hard with heroism and good gear), then the boss will start casting the second Insanity and during this second cast, you will be able to target him.
Heroism should be still up, just burn him down as you did during the 1st cast"

"Chiming in with above post; just did the achievement and it was nothing but raw DPS.
Setup was; Prot warrior, Holy Priest, BM Hunter, Elemental Shaman and Fury Warrior, all Naxx25 geared.

We popped bloodlust and cooldowns at ~75% and he was down to 40% before he started casting first Insanity. He hit ~20% before he was done casting it and he instantly started casting second Insanity. We could still see him even while phased because he went straight for second Insanity, so we just ignored the clones. He died during second Insanity cast of course."

Less-rabi exploit is fixed. But it's still very doable without exploiting.

By the way, the speed of his cast is dependant on his health - it's not on a timer. Transform below 30ish percent has a casttime of like 0.5 percent, which is why a mage (or no lag, a little luck and very good reflexes) is a pre-requisite. It's def. doable though - and easier than most of the achievements in the "medium" category.

I finally got all the Utgarde Pinnacle achievements today, including both Skadi ones. I've been running UP now daily for 3-4 days trying to get Skadi down to 1 shot, and finally did it today (3 days ago I wiped about 8 times on him, lol!). For those who are trying, just keep at it, its really about practice and coordination and not so much about gear. For the achievements, I simply farm 5 harpoons at the start, run out to reset, and then run most of my team (leave 1 behind) to the little room. I keep em there with my tank, and one guy left behind aggros the boss and runs towards the rest. I have 3x magma totems down plus my pally aoes/avenger shields, usually most of the guys are down by the time skadi has come around. I do NOT however bring him down the first pass, since there are still a few more guys left, I kill the rest and bring him down with my tank (who has all the harpoons) on his 2nd pass.

Thats the trickiest part, when he comes down usually there will have just spawned 2 guys and maybe 1 guy left, I immediately turn my team around to face outside, run my tank as far away as I can while still in LOS, taunt off anyone who is on my team, burn down the remaining adds, and then just focus on skadi. Somehow I had burned all my lusts (mis-typing probably) so even got Skadi down in under 3 minutes without lust. Remember to use both taunts for paladins when he is whirlwinding, I also popped shield wall when he stayed on the tank during a WW phase.

The hardest part really is the transition as skadi is landing, you have to keep adds off your guys, move skadi away from the team, turn the team around, kill any remaining adds (fire elementals would have been great here too, magma worked out great along with thunderstorm), while not forgetting to heal the tank. I'm going to be farming UP now, maybe just skip straight to the third boss (you can skip the first two) in the hopes of getting 5x blue protodrakes

I've gotten now about 50% of the red proto drake achievements done, gonna slowly plug away at 1-2 a week until they are all done! The other multiboxer who cleared heroic oculus really inspires me to work on that instance next week.

    Oh yes many times..

Oculus is time consuming. Lotsa macro making. Hard pre-patch (Could only do 5x amber tactic on end boss pre-patch, since the lease movement is required then.), quite doable now post-patch. (Since movement is no issue anymore.)

Still, it's got a learning curve and steep macro curve.

Have to pull it to the corner of the room just before it. And OT the adds that cause the shield. I did it after the patch with no problem this way.
