I got on the internets and used the google (and this forum) but I can't get a straight answer.
1) When you transfer a toon do you lose your macros
2) What level can you enter ZF and BRD?
I get conflicting answers to the second question at least.

You can back up your macros locally - and should.
Check WoWWiki.com for the level thresholds.
Just attempt to zone in and see what it saysOriginally Posted by 'Coltimar',index.php?page=Thread&postID=169104#pos t169104

Your macros are in a file stored in the WTF folder, separate for each account.
You can move/edit the file as you wish, just be careful to keep a safe copy as you might make it unusable with your changes.
Check wowhead for information on the instances

level 40 minimum
It's useful to have a few batch files on your desktop for macro management. I have one that backs my macros up to a safe folder outside my WoW installation, one that copies my account macros from my tanks' account to everyone else, one that copies warlock macros from lock to lock. I copy my Dominos and Pitbull settings around like this too.
MY MINIONS on Lightbringer US: Osaar (80 BE Paladin) - Esaar, Isaar, and Usaar (80 BE Warlocks) - Harmsworth (80 UD Priest)
On ZF you might have heard people say enter at lvl 40. This isnt the minimum but SM provides a much better boosting environment up to level 40. SM basically has no reset timer since you have 3 different instances to clear before you reset. I myself have never hit the boosting cap at SM and have also found that Pulling the first section in ZF (until the instance Ts) to be great XP.Originally Posted by 'Coltimar',index.php?page=Thread&postID=169104#pos t169104
If your group is strong enough you can smoke the run aways, if its not be prepared for a drawn out fight, or forget the runaways and leave the instance, loot, leave, and reset..rinse and repeat.
