go to wow folder / wtf / config.wtf

Open that file

Add:

SET gxResolution "1600x1200" (or whatever)
SET gxWindow "1"
SET maxFPS "1000"
SET maxFPSBk "5"

Close file then set to READ ONLY (moohaha!) that way it will never change.
