Shaman dps with 3.0.8 - wow

I think its fair to say dps has gone up more than 300 on average, at least for my team. I run a trinity group so only 3 dps.

Just did snake boss in gundrak heroic and the dps on my 3 were 1995, 2261 and 2900 =) I think last time I did this guy my highest was 2050ish

My Dk is now also defense capped with about 26k hp, I dunno about the rest of you but I think im gonna enjoy the new changes, dunno how it effects pvp but my main interest is PVE anyway.

I'm pretty impressed too. Preliminary testing shows I went up to 1900-2500 DPS (my guys have gear varying from 1600-2000 self-buffed) in a group that was doing around 1500-2000 before the patch. That's including the new magma totem though.

Did magma totem go up that much? That's pretty sweet. Emesis, are you mainly doing instances now? (haven't seen ya around!) Also, do you know a 5box pally/shaman team named Xxbambi? Ran into them at Ebon Hold yesterday.

Magna is hitting above 500 per pulse for me, that's about double what it did pre 3.0.8, every 2 seconds. So about 125 extra dps from that, the rest is from the talent/spell changes.

I've mostly been working (finally) on bringing my second team up; I've got a DK and pally for tanking near 78 now. Yup, I've run into xxbambi before - he's got a whole crew and some geared out singleton players as well. Haven't seen him on the forums though.

Just tested DPS on the target dummies in org, i got up to 2800 dps.

when i was your age, patch day usually meant exploits and major rollbacks!

but yah, back on topic
i'm seeing about a 30% dps increase for my shammies under field conditions
for the first time ever, one of them actually pulled aggro from my pally today (without me doing something stupid)
