Unable to destroy Sam Deathwalker (yet)

I finished this whole quest and am in undercity now plotting my next quest:

I got 3 35 and and everyone else 36/37 now.

I ain't bragg'n but you guys is lagg'n.

Some level 80 did me in a few times at Tarren Mill, and I killed a level 40 (I was waiting for him in the room where the mob for the quest (4th part) was, he comes in figure to see the mob and Im there, lol.

There is one minor flaw in your plan. To gank me you have to be alliance. You don't think that 5 level 55 DK in HORDE terriorty isn't going to be viewed as tempting targets by higher level HORDE?

Im on most everynight from 12 or 2 or so am pacific to 4 or 5 pacific. Servers are low pop also so I get super ping.

You are on "most everynight" and it takes you weeks to get a level with RAF? Crazy

Just so you know, you are in what is called "contested" territory, it is neither horde or alliance controlled.

2. DKs don't get out in to the world until 58.

3. The difference between 58 DKs and a level 80 isn't nearly as massive as a standard pre-60 (or in this case, your mid-30s). Especially 5 DKs vs an 80 with 10-20k HP, that's around the HP of a typical boss for a level 60, so I would imagine the DKs would at least have a fighting chance, barring some skill issues on the part of the DKs or an overwhelming numbers advantage on the part of the gankers. There's a number of issues involved there, but the point is it would be a closer fight.

This has me curious though, how are you faring against gankers at this point? Has it reached the point that you're actually taking out a fair chunk of their life, or is it still faster to just lay down and accept it?

My 5 DK team killed it's first 80 at level 60. You will have a hard time with plate classes and good rogues but casters should be pretty easy.

If he is still using the ridiculous macro he was showing off awhile back he is definitely getting owned by anyone that comes around with 0 chance of defending himself.

Two guys gravyard camped me last night, after I ran right stright into that allience town in Duskwood or whatever that zone next to SV is (sometimes feeling invincible donst pay lol), with a ton of guards, They followed me from SV and I just let them, they were both 40's, I lost but then I moved my guys in a big circle and killed them, then some 80 comes in and slaughters me and I go to bed. This morning got over to where I wanted and some level 80 looking for herbs (lol) slaughtered me so I logged. Gonna go back online in a few hours.

Im in San Jose, and my datacenter is in LA. I see ping as low as 23ms at 2 a.m. sometimes.

So I start a quest listed as sharable ... kill the first mob and its not sharable, only one guy can loot ... bleh now I have to kill 8 X 26 mobs, if they have the item which seems like 50/50 so Like 320 mobs (plus another 200 plus of mobs in the area) to finish the first leg of the quest..... rats.

Finished it up on 8 guys tonight.... stupid quest but I am killing tons of mobs (not just the quest ones).

Im doing ok I have 45 days of RAF left and Im spending most all my non work time playing not making macros and computers and stuff.

Shareable means you are able to share it with others that have the prerequisites. It doesn't mean the quest item is shareable.

I saw you in Stonard tonight but you never came out. You need to play more, a big pile of Tauren seems like it would be a comfortable spot for a picnic!

I spawned a few guards to see if I could run in and aoe you, they were a little stronger then I thought but I could have done it with a kamikaze move. I also killed a pair of skull level horde that jumped me, that was great! I don't think they were 80s but it still has to be embarrassing to get owned by grey players ;)

4:12 AM EST: Sam attempts his world famous "circle jerk" maneuver, another few seconds of conflict




4:27 AM EST: Another one second fight (I'm playing on my laptop, laugh at the UI if you like, I would!)




4:32 AM EST: Can't even say this one lasted a second. He rezzed on top of a Death and Decay, bright.




4:39 AM EST: He rezzed while I was riding around, the Tauren speed bump experiment continues.




4:55 AM EST: With Stonard 150 yards away this entire time, Sam makes a stunning move. He "tactically withdrawals" in the opposite direction.




He logs out 10 minutes later. It was fun hanging with ya Sam, same time tomorrow?

The funny in this is I think I am doing him a favor. I'm saving him 26 boxing this quest chain..

Ya I got hammered ... almost killed one of his guys a few times but died fairly consitantly.

I finished the quest on all but 2 of my guys (4 are level 36 rest are higher), that was a waste kinda but Im killing mobs like I planed anyways so ... Thinking I do the next part of the chain on the 4 low guys then move out of the zone, its nice though for herbs.

These level 55 DK only have 6K hp so it won't be long before they are no threat.

I don't run from pvp, I just learn through deaths. Next time Ill have 25 X ES follow with CL/LB with a mix of WS macro made for pvp. I have to read up on the totems also.

5:00 AM Deathwalker has his meal of Felit Meniong with bread and chedder and mushroom/yellowbellpepers/onions compote.

5:40 Deathwalker back online, Glo gone, gets antoher 1-2 hours of leveling in.
