Yea i thought the patch stated you could now on any relm as long as the account had one lvl 55 hmmm or is it my dang eyes playing tricks on me. Sheesh im getting to old need some dual-boxing reading glasses grrrrr.

Is Sam's realm relatively new? I'm guessing the rules still apply where if you can't transfer a char to the realm you can't create a DK there either as new realms would then just have hundreds of level 55 DKs popping up before the first non DK could get to level 2.

Any why can't we create DKs?

Actually, we can create them on his realm. I believe his realm is Ner'zhul. I just created a death knight there. Not sure why they are saying we can't.

Yes, it is confirmed, Sam Deathwalkers realm is Ner'zhul and we CAN create a Death Knight there! SAM!! HERE I COME BUDDY, your TIME IS NOW! :-)

It was anticipated that with the release of the current patch, 3.0.8, players would be able to create a new death knight on any realm within their region. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are not able to make this available as of yet. We do anticipate making this available in the near future and will do our best to keep everyone informed of when this becomes available.

Please keep in mind that when implemented restrictions will still apply to new, non-transfer realms such that death knights cannot be created on those realms until you level a character to level 55 on that realm or until transfer restrictions are removed.

So once again they sold us a feature - and pulled it at the last minute. (remember, this was supposed to be a WotLK launch feature)

Seriously - this is getting old.

Edit: I was able to create a new DK on a realm where I have no other toons.
