Im just upgradeing computers a bit (I have all the parts why not use them). For some reason when Death and Decay hit me my screens seems to slow down (cept the main) and Im not running out of it like I should, hopefully with some improvments Ill be able to run out of it fasts.

Yeah, it's a big mystery why 5 simultaneous AOEs on 26 characters will cause lag. Actually no it's not so mysterious, what I find a mystery is why you don't move when you see one of us coming at you instead of waiting for the aoe to drop. *shrug*

I realize many many many people have told you this over the years but there is no way to measure who is the best in a social game. I guess you could have a popularity contest, you would come in about 11 millionth simply because of the douche factor. I'm fairly certain that anyone yelling that they are the best would be pre-disqualified from any type of popularity type contest.

I've struggled with the thought of how one defines the title of being the best in a social computer game too, and to my chagrin I think I finally have found the answer.

Sam has defined his own goal. We all know that. But this is HIS goal made for his own purposes. That's it. Even thou no one else (or most of us at least) recognizes his definition of the "best", HE recognizes it, therefore that's the only thing that matters. It doesn't matter what the rest of us think.

He needs the title.

It has been said before about always having goals when you're playing to keep the motivation up. Being the best is his motivation, even thou it doesn't matter to the rest of us, it's his goal. He's climbing up an invisible mountain that only he can see, and that's cool. We all have those mountains.

This would also explain why he doesn't crumble under the verbal barrage that's hurled toward him. He probably laughs at some of the vile and hurtful things that have been thrown his way. It keeps him in the spotlight.

Now that I finally understand your motivation and your goal Sam, your shenanigans don't bother me as much as they once did. Brag all you want. You're eccentric, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Point one: 'you'll never understand' is the courtiers reply (http://rationalwiki.com/wiki/Courtier's_reply), it is foolish to think that someone cannot understand something just because they have not directly experienced it. I'm pretty sure you weren't in Germany when the Nazis were killing Jews, although I readily accept that your family may have suffered greatly and you have my sympathies.

Point two: if you can't recognise the difference between someone making a joke and someone making Nazi propaganda then just grow up/get a life/get a sense of humour/stop being so over sensitive

The only reason to come to any threads that concern Sam is to watch everybody beat the shit outta one another. Sam doesn't really say anything worth anything, but the real entertainment is seeing everybody rag on each other.
