Default Cost to start 5 boxing WoW?

What is the full cost as far as the game software is concerned to start 5 boxing WoW? I am talking with all expansions enabled from the start. Does the latest expansion also include all things prior or would I have to buy the original WoW, the first expansion and then the latest expansion x5?

    $36.99 x5 = $184.95

    $39.99 x5 = $199.95

$384.90 US not including tax / shipping.

You don't HAVE to start out with Wrath. You can just get the battle chest, start 5 accounts and play any race you want.

Thanks for the info. I realize I don't have to have all expansions to start playing, I just want to know the total buy in cost to have all expansions and I guess the new expansions are not stand alone and require the original game and whatever other expansion as well to enable those expansions. So buy in is @$80 an account for all expansions.

    Orig x 5 @19.95 , Burning Crusade x5 @29.99, WOTLK x5 @36.99=$434.85 + 16.22 each month x5 @81.10

    Hope that helps.

I'd start with Keyclone and 5 trial accounts. That's $20 for Keyclone.

If you don't like it, you just saved yourself $380.

Makes me wonder when the next Battlechest is coming out (WoW + 2 expansions).

If I tried it, I won't be doing the 4 or 5 of same class thing. Have 6 X-keys pro 58 keys usb, a bunch of n52's, G13, G15, X-keys 20 keypad ps/2, a vetra multicaster and enough computers to 12 box with one account per computer.

I'd likely make it based on how I already play EQ. 1 tank class, whatever is considered the very best raid tank there is...assume warrior? One healer class...a pure healer that can cast big fast heals. 1 healer class that can do heal over time spells and 2 caster DPS classes, probably with pets.

Another question, on a PVE server, can you be trained by other players? As in them pulling large amounts of mobs and running it over to you and dropping agro on you? I have just been trained today in EQ. It is only the third time it has happened to me since I started playing in 1999 lol, but am not too happy about it. I remember someone saying mobs in WoW were mostly leashed, so would seem training would be kinda hard to do.

I had to crunch the numbers myself out of curiosity...
    http://wemultibox.com/blogs/vyndree/...s-account-fees

From my calculations, it's gonna cost about $400 for the accounts (w/all expansions), and (depending on subscription type) $780-900 per year in ongoing subscription fees.
    TBC/Wrath Multiboxer: Velath / Velani / Velathi / Velatti / Velavi / Velarie [Archimonde (US-PvP)]

IMHO, a Prot Pally is easier to tank with than the other classes. As for a pure healer, I'd pick a priest. AE heals are awesome. But you don't really need a dedicated healer until you do heroic dungeons. Hybrid ranged dps with heals work fine in all other cases. Plus, the added dps from not having a healer makes fights faster. (this is a big reason elemental shamans are so great for PVE boxing). As for DPS classes, ranged is best, for obvious (positioning) reasons. Many classes can fill this role. It's just up to your play style.

You cannot be trained by other players. (I must confess I DO miss the trains in Lower Guk and Blackburrow, but ahhh well....)

You can be trained, but its not as easy as it was in EQ. And unlike in EQ its impossible to get an entire zones worth of mobs to train someone.
I was following a rogue the other day and he agroed around 4-5 mobs, then vanished, dropping all of them right in my lap. Luckily I was playing my dk, who just laughed and killed all the mobs. I've been playing for 4 years, and thats the biggest train I've ever had happen to me, and it wasn't intentional, I just happened to be in the wrong spot when the rogue vanished.
