Things you do when you're bored

Got a new one for what you do when your bored of wow again. You all noticed how much fun it was when your first started tearing stuff up boxing right. Well it got to the point where with my eyes closed i knew what i was doing and what buttons to push. So for a change in pace i went back to single playing hehe. I was like a kid in a candy store all over again. Since i 5 box on a laptop all setting are bare minimum. Went to single reset just for that run everything high setting i was like omfg thats what wow looks like. Running around no worry about phasing and losing follow or lag spikes losing follow or getting slaves stuck. All n all if you get bored go play on a single character for a little bit. After that you wont be bored anymore when you see how long it takes to kill something with one person whew.

I did this with 2-boxing for a while.

Very different experience compared to 5.

I enjoyed raid healing on my priest when I was single boxing, I still do but I really hate the whole 'I have to lock in three hours on this day this day and that day'. I like to be able to get home and just have a beer and watch tv etc and not have to worry "oh shit can't do that gotta get ready for raid"

I miss doing raid content and all the excitement of a well coordinated group that's lead by a good leader, but I really hate the military like commitment you're talking about too. Sometimes you just want to relax when you get home and do absolutely nothing.

That being said, I haven't solo boxed in well over a year, and I don't see myself doing it again anytime soon.

Having been in the army reserves I don't mind the commitment required. Because you see, it's even worse trying to get a raid organised and having to wait for people to log on. The whole point of it is to find a time people can make so you know exactly when you have to raid and you get the rest of your time on wow to do what you want.

Apart from that, I LOVE the pre-bc raids and try to finish them every week. I want to go around dump city with 4 shammies and pally in full t2.

Pally t2 is the BEST thing Blizzard has done in this game, end of discussion!

I don't even know what to do with myself when I only have to play 1 toon. "Should I go hit that? I'm kinda borded just standing here. Damn, this is going slow. Grrr, I'm tapping my dps keys again. Zzzz...Wha...wha? *dance* Oh, I guess I can't make real people autofollow me."

Eventually I just start thinking about other macros I can make and practicing alternate button placement.

normally i farm badges and dailies

when i get bored i go do my less-visited heroics and try achievements
i also single-box my dk to properly learn the class
oh and level my second team when their rest xp are full

Just this morning I was bored and looking for something to do. So i took my 80 DK to UBRS and got the Jenkins title. Went down into BRD and killed the king for the achievement. Went over and solo'd Onyxia again (filling my bank bag slots with onyxia bags ) Some friends logged on (lvl50) so I ran them thru BRD, full clear with no deaths, there both now half way to 53! Went thru Strat about 10 times trying to get the Baron mount, at least i'm getting rep... Debating if i want to slaughter Bootybay for the Bloodsail Admiral achievement, maybe do that tomorrow.
