Tried to create a dk and a team to boost and can't atm. Server qued so creation is disabled. Will try to get in and at least create toons in the morning
    Should be fine now.

Did a full MC run today, got 3 epics for my 53 pally. lotta fun, anyone interested come on over to stormrage and try this out. Had a few level 80s come in and try to pull half the zone at the start, but once they left went pretty smoothly. All and all a fun experience.
Indeed we did have a few arrogant people but they got kicked and sorted out very quickly. After that it was a successful run.

This sounds like fun.. I've got a lv52 rogue that's been sitting around for awhile (which is perfect in this case). I'll make contact in-game sometime this weekend. Who do I talk to about specifics?
I will be away tomorrow (Friday) So I should be back Saturday. You can talk to Nhanced/Apathic/Ruinic/Sentric/Caendra (Me, ill be on either of those characters). Or if online Uther (has a funny ascii somewhere) or Tartan.
Just do a /who Apathic and it will bring up a list of all guild members online, if neither the above mentioned are online i'm sure other members will help you out.

I decided I will transfer my nelf 63 rogue to the server. Haven't played him in forever, and surprisingly you need rogues. Not sure when I'll get around to it, probably next paycheck.

This rogue has a certain sentimental value as he was my first WoW character I ever created. Sadly, I hate night elfs now, and I actually hate his name. LOL. I was such a noob back then......

It'll be nice to play combat spec again!
You might wanna hold off on that, I will explain later today when I get home.
What I might suggest instead of transfering your level 63 rogue to the server, which will cost 15 USD. Rather use the recruit-a-friend option to recruit your self and then upgrade to a vanilla wow account (costs 20 USD).
This way you can benefit from the triple experience gained from mobs and quests on both accounts. As well as granting levels and summoning each other (Blizzard has a good FAW about recruit-a-friend if your are interested).
When upgrading to a full account you get 30 days free (1 month) - they do ask for you to put in a subscription however you can cancel it before it bills you, then before your account runts out of time, transfer your new character to your main account or keep paying for two accounts (what my self and many others do).

A big reason is that we would prefer to have level 60 guild members. We do bring higher levels to our raids but it is made clear that the level 60 twinks get preference on gear, and I would feel bad about giving your level 63 rogue gear instead of a level 60 twink (where you can attain much better gear easily). Also at level 63 you cannot join our AV battleground and that is where alot of guild group pvp happens.

I'm already on my second round of RAF. SInce I'll be leveling 3-4 groups, I definitely won't want to do it all over again on a new server with no money, so I figure I could bypass all that by transferring the rogue.

I definitely would not be interested in AV at all. Just PVE content.

*edit* I just remembered I have a level 60 dwarf warrior. Could you guys use an extra warrior? I don't mind speccing defense or dps, whichever you need most.

Ahhh I see your side of the story now. Indeed we could do with some warriors.
We have as current main raider warrior however he is interested in dps gear so all tier 1 and tier 2 are open to any other warriors because he will pass on them. I just rolled a warrior now too (level 58) thanks to RAF grant a level. However it is on my main paladin tanks account which I normally use to tank in raids. So we could indeed use more warriors.

Also it would be nice to have a level 60 main tank for the guild for when we decide to try ZG and AQ20 and on without the aid of higher levels.
Also I have been looking forward to some level 60 only UBRS and Strat runs! I have a Almost full tier 2 priest healer so it should be cake

Anywyas let me know, we all happy to help out with gold as well if needed (im broke at the moment but plan on farming a thousand or so this weekend).

If you want to experience old content raiding to it's fullest, have a lvl 60 warrior tank.
Never again. Never again will I run raid content as it was back in the days of 40-mans. Not because the content was too hard, but because it was ridiculous to tackle with 10 devoted people and 30 slackers.

Rediculus, but epic. Some of the best times I ever had on wow. I mean, the mobs and bosses were HUGE for a start and you were within this HUGE cavern. Fighting dragons is just so much more epic than fighting bugs and zombies imo.

It's why some of my favourite fights in BC were gruul, void reaver, mag, supremus and some of the sunwell bosses.

Also this group doesn't seem to have many slackers, as it's all people who enjoyed raiding that content back then. I'm not sure if you have seen the difference between a raid with 3/4 slackers and a raid with only 2-3 slackers in it, it is quite huge and awesome to be a part of.

I'm gonna work on my warriors BWL/MC attunement today. I hope he doesn't get that much experience, he is 23% into level 60 and is on a BC/WOTLK account, so he'll probably level sooner or later.....

    bump again!
We got our first Thunderfury binding today! (Piece of Baron).
Grats to Unholynova for winning it.

We are still looking for more. We are really hoping too turn <Apathic> into a well progressed pre-bc guild and we need more level 60s in order to do that!
