    Default Healing Stream Totem Question

Im wondering if any of you have high level enhancement shamans. I am kind of wondering how much healing stream totem heals for at 80 with some decent AP (since you have an AP -> SP conversion). I am slightly tickled by the idea of a 5 enhancement shaman group for pve, since you can stack healing stream totems.

    Just a thought.

My resto shaman with ~2400sp raid buffed sees it tick for around 400-500, ele shamans w/ 1800sp see 300-400, but remember a tick is every few (3?) seconds, not every second. So I'd guess you'll see upwards of 2500-3500 hp/tick or so, which is excellent background AoE healing but not enough to really do any heroics, since bosses and some trash packs hit 30k armor plate wearers for 6-10k+ a swing.

With 1820sp as a elemental shaman mine is only healing for 158 per tick

And if I pop my trinket for 2101sp I get 181 per tick

For both of you, im assuming this is without the healing stream glyph and the healing stream totem +25% talent?

Uh Im calling BS on the 400-500, unless there is something out there that I dont know about. Mine tick (elemental shamans) for 250ish and they are at 2200-2400 sp buffed + the glyph. I dont see how the talent in the resto tree can double that (its 25% as far as I remember.) 300? Ya ok. 500? You sure you remember right?

edit: not to mention this is with the devotion aura buff (+6% healing). I just dont see how 500 is possible with that much spell power.

Yeah sorry for an elemental shaman 400 is not even close. I have the healing stream totem glyph, and 1980sp buffed, and I see about 197 per tick.

Well my resto shaman has some crazy trinkets (the OS25 one plus badge I think) and he's raid buffed remember, I run naxx25 weekly on him and he's usually the only resto shaman in the pug raid so all mail goes to me (lol). I think I've seen up to 3k spell power when everything is proc'ing. But yeah 500 is probably too high. 200-220 sounds about right for my ele shamans, I just assumed my resto shaman would be a bit higher, but honestly I rarely drop healing stream totem on him in raids, mana spring is way way more useful.

Also mods like MSBT (scrolling combat text) combine totem ticks so I probably saw 500-600 from 2-3 healing stream totems, my bad.

I wish wowhead showed the SP/AP multipler for spells/abilities (if it does I dont know where it is). Do you guys know what it is (per tick) for healing stream?

    Thanks.

http://www.wowwiki.com/Spell_power_coefficient is the best source of SP coefficients I know of, but the info there for healing stream totem is out of date.

Pretty easy to computer this yourself though; strip down, check your SP, drop a totem. Count the tick value. Re-equip gear. Count the tick value and your new SP.

    Spell power coefficient = [ Tick(after) - Tick (before) ] / [ SpellPower (after) - SpellPower (before) ]

I'm guessing it's around 10% based on the numbers being thrown around here and what I've seen, though I haven't actually calculated.

Something else interesting I just came on wowwiki (http://www.wowwiki.com/Healing_Stream_Totem)

Any bonuses to spell power you had when you placed the totem will continue to affect it for the full duration.
If this is true, it's something I never noticed, and it will certainly change my boss fight rotation (i.e. dropping healing streams AFTER trinket).
