that isn't enough information to help you out very well. this information could easily be solved also if you would use the search function (ya that nice box up in the top right corner). if your system only has 1 DVI/VGA output then it is most likely you can't run multiple monitors at the same time, even with a splitter. the only thing you could do to be able to run multiple monitors (2+) would be to buy a graphics card.

hope this helps some and again, pleas do some research before you post. ^_^

From what I understand, a splitter will only duplicate your first screen. Not what you are wanting from what i can tell.

    exactly

a DVI/VGA splitter will only duplicate your current monitor on to the second or allow you to switch you picture from one monitor to another, not what you are after i think. atleast that is my understanding of a monitor splitter adapter.

If you only have 1 port on your videocard, you'll either need a TRUE splitter like the Matrox TripleHead2Go, or a different videocard. A standard splitter will only duplicate the signal. The TripleHead2Go will act as a true splitter, letting the OS/videocard know there is more resolution available than just one monitor. But I believe you'll need to use another monitor of the same resolution & refresh rate.... there's also a resolution limit on the TripleHead2Go, so you can't hook up 2x 24" monitors to it at 1920x1200 resolution each..

Definitely going to 4-box Diablo 3 after testing the beta for how well this would work.

this is the way to go.
your splitter will show the same thing on two screens. but the videocard will show two different things on two different screens. unconfused yet? lol
