    Default Dual box classes?

Never dual boxed before and looking to start. I was wondering what the best classes would be to 2 box with, I was leaning toward mage/mage or warrior/pally but I wanted input on what everyone else thought was powerful combo. Warrior/pally seems like the most interesting but also seems like it would be the more difficult and slower lvling of the 2. Thoughts?

jk. no mage/mage is good. when you're just starting out, having characters of the same class will help simplify things. then you can configure mixed teams later when you're better at it. mages, especially fire, kill things super quick, have great CC options and have the option to move around quickly via portals/teleports.

the only thing you might need to work with is really casting direciton, drinking and staying away from melee'ers/gankers.

I exclusively 2-box (mainly because my system won't handle more than that). If you want to run a same-class team, you can't go wrong with 2 hunters or two warlocks. The pets increase your survivability greatly. They both have good cc. The locks allow for healing through affliction talents.

Other good combinations are tank/healer combos: pally/pally, warrior/priest, feral druid/resto druid, etc. The trick here is to set up your key bindings so your tanks skills are separate from your healing skills. I use the number pad for healing and the regular number keys for tanking. It will take a little getting used to but, it's really not that bad.

    I have tried:

Pally - Priest, works GREAT, I can gather a bunch of mobs and bam they're dead. Don't try this before you have consecration though. I specced Ret - Disc

Warrior - Druid, a little bit difficult because Warrior lacks AOE tanking capabilities. But that just means I have to pull smarter. I can still take 5 mobs of the same level, but not 10. I specced Prot - Balance

Death-knight, Priest: (starting at level 58 in outland): again, great. I rarely used the priest, just need her for little healing.

I'd have to go with boomkin/boomkin for 2 boxing. High armor in moonkin form while doing lots of dmg and able to heal whenever is really nice.
