The irony is most of the hate is probably coming from high school and college kids whose parents pay for their monthly and they got their games and computers as presents.

The real irony is the hackers/botters/gold farmers know that multi-boxing does not make them more efficient in the least, it's MORE work, with the possible exception of powerleveling, although a good leveling guide is probably better. I lurk in a few places where account thieves and scammers hang out, so I know what they're up to (I hate them with a burning passion, too), and I've seen ONE talk about MBing.

Granted, those who hate don't realize how stupid they are (the stupid never do), they don't get that multi-boxing generally requires a good job to support. When you get through to them, then it's "what a waste of money!", or "it's not fair to BUY advantage!".

Granted, we're talking about a game community that complains about *everything*. I've stopped going to the WoW forums completely, I've reached my limit reading the endless complaining about everything you can imagine. Now, since last week, all I read is this site, MMO Champion, and WoW Insider (woot for Belfaire working there now), and I'm much happier for it.
