New instance to add to farming? (and alt-itis)

I have now have Utgarde Keep, Drak'Tharon Keep, Gundrak and Caverns of Time: The Culling of Stratholme on easy-mode farm status. I'm curious what dungeon you think I should add to my daily farm list next? I've already tried Azjol Nerub a BUNCH of times so forget that. I guess Old Kingdom I could try... I havent even done Halls of Lightning or Stone on any difficulty level. I loathe to even add nexus as its a long ass flight there. Violet Hold is not farmable as there are a few bosses that give me headaches, however I can clear it if the right bosses pop up. I'm guessing the ones I am doing are pretty much it. Takes about 2.5hours to clear the ones I have on farm and honestly I'm looking to drop Utgarde Keep as I have run that so many times I could do it blindfolded and the thought of going there again makes me nauseus(even skipping as much as I can I noticed that it just has too much trash.)

I think I have farmed up about 300 emblems and 600 or so stone keeper shards(per account), most of the rewards going to alts (bunch of heirloom crap.) I get tells from people when they see my alts that I'm one masochistic bastard. I probably should stop before I burn myself out (againx3). Anyways someone have a different dungeon than those above on farm? Also could use some strat tips on CoS as I have only seen the Infinite Corruptor once and didnt get to dps him before he took off. =(

when i was running heroics my dailies included, nexus, HoL, Pinnacle and keep(sometimes Gundrak). Now I'm leveling mage/priest so I stopped for a bit.

Hmm Im leaning towards trying HoL. Pinnacle is a pain in my ass, I can't seem to get past Lodi. I can sometimes make it to him, but I just dont have the time to position my group before he lands and then he whirlwinds my tank or dps to death while moving one or the other. H8 that guy.

I'm going to wait to start farming UP until I'm mega overgeared on all characters.

I will be trying HoL soon, and I think everyone but telestra would be easy in nexus, not sure about telestra she gave me a lot of probs on normal. I've never run strat but I want to try adding that to my farming list since I want to get 5 bronze drakes

I would say try HoL - if you can get it down it will get easier and easier and I hear its a pretty fun instance and I think it has some decent drops.

GL on the drakes from CoS, I ran what I thought was a perfect run the other day and saw him walking off (this is fully flasked and managing mana so I dont have to drink). I don't know where Im going to drop 3 mins off my run time to get there faster and kill him.

Non-dedicated healer = more dps = faster run. I don't use a resto shaman.

If you can do Strat HoL is a joke, esp once your geared up > 1500sp and you have a resto shaman. I wiped 10+ times when I first when into HoL, but when I went in a few days ago I 1-shotted everything including Loken - killed him in like 70 seconds too, so got that achievement.

I am b-o-r-e-d of heroics, I basically only run maybe 1 a day. Instead I am joining 25 man pugs on each of my guys and just getting gear that way (or at least badges), it makes you want to claw your eyes out after running naxx for the 3d time in a week (4-6 hour clears) but if you are lucky with drops you can get geared out CRAZY, since there is a ton of leather/mail spell power drops and most raids have hardly anyone who can use them. And yeah, same as you, I detest VH, the two spider instances, HoS (first 2 bosses ez, the waves-with-bronn is NUTS), UP, etc so only try one of them once a week to improve a bit. Got Anub down to 20% in two tries last nite but just stopped, if I gear up a bit more and with next patch I think a LOT of it is going to be a lot easier.

Also don't forget next week (assuming patch) that you will be able to buy a very nice helm for 40 wg tokens, and I think legs (or trinket?) or 30 tokens. I am jumping into WG every chance I get, its an easy 3-10k honor per battle and more importantly I'm saving up tokens.

Afterwards plan on leveling a DK to try him out as a tank, although at this point my pally is soooo well geared and nearly exalted with everyone, I really don't plan on repeating all that grinding again.

Don't know if you're running all shaman+tank but how do you deal with the nature immune boss in HoL - Heroic oc? With fire only? Do you do some kind of tricky positioning?

Are you talking about Ionar, that wind elemental that splits up into little lightning "spiders"? She is not immune to nature damage, just a lot of the trash before her is. My main dps button does a /castrandom lava burst,lightning bolt, plus I have a mage so it takes a little longer to take down the trash but its not too bad. For the boss, there are a few strats on this forum, but basically just put everyone in a seperate corner in the room before her, drop healing stream totems, and just heal up whoever is taking lots of damage when she splits up. You have to keep people away from each other so they don't spread the damage, and you have to heal up anyone who is currently taking lots of damage. A NR totem helps a lot of course.

All my guys are currently elemental and I have a paladin for tank. No mana issues and I just dont know where I can cut corners to make it to the Corrupter faster. On a side note it seems CoS can be very luck based as yesterday I wiped 3 times(!!!!! :cursing: ) trying to get my time lower... I should have just taken it easy after the first wipe, but I was trying to practice a faster pace. Oh well...
