    Default Lotro Conjunctions and Keyclone

Something I have been trying to work out but been unable to resolve is how to get the 2nd box to do a conjunction without having to mouse over to it to do it. Now in doing so with a little info from a frend I was able to find out that you can excute the 4 parts using keys. So I set those up in keymapping of Lotro.

Here's where the problem lies, the 2nd box won't follow the instruction because it is targeting thru the first to obtain its correct target each time. And needs to be done this way in order for move them around and be on the same target. My question is there anyone that is playing lotro that has been able to make a conjunction work correctly on the 2nd box? I have set up the fellowship assist on both boxes but all the 2nd box does is sit there with that little circle like thing waiting to be clicked on. By hand I can make it pop open to a conjunction but seems only way I can get it to to work.

Any suggestions at this point I would be open too.

Not only can you map the four conjunction circles (red/blue/yellow/green) to keys via the LOTRO key-mapping, but you can also map the target circle (the bullseye) to a key as well. That's the fellowship skill assist entry.

If that's not working properly, then I'm not sure what to tell you other than to try binding it to another key, maybe? I've used MultiBox to activate that before, and I'm now using Inner Sphere, but haven't gotten the new characters worked up to the level of getting conjunctions yet to be able to tell if it works right or not.

I haven't been able to get Innersphere to work, so I gave up and went back to what I knew which was keyclone. Also after posting I went to the Lotro forums and even they state that if the 2nd character is not locked on the main target it will get the bullseye instead of the conjunction. I did try and bind it to the "num Zero" key and it didn't want to work. Also tried binding it to the mouse back button then realized that keyclone man not repeat that to the 2nd box.

My hope is that maybe lotro will fix this so that a conjunction can be performed thru an assisted character, at least make it mapable in such a way that when pressed will cause the conjunction to open and also setting target to that at the same time. Targeting back for target assist is easy with F8 or with F1-F6, depending on the size of the fellowship.

It's because I have been using multiboxing in a fellowship alot since Moria, that I ask this. My Kinship, has been requesting their presence much more frequently so I needed more information, to make them as effective as possible. I will continue to experiment and and good info I can find on this I will post here.

One other item you can try to is to use the assist key and map that through keyclone. It defaults to 'F' I believe.

That way if you have your 1st box targeted by the 2nd box, and the CJ pops up, once you target it with box #1, you can hit F and get it on box #2 as well.

It works fine for me with octopus. Hit F (for fellowship skill assist button) and then hit what ever 3 person straight I want. I just have to remember to restore target assist aftwards.

Ok, I want to thank you all for the information it has been a big help. Now my next question, what key are you using to pop open the conjunction on the 2nd box with? I was using "Num 0" but find that a problem considering I also like to use nunlock for autorun feature when traveling.

I always hate when someone solves their problem and doesn't post anything about it, so I thought I would post how I finally work mine. I did a little remapping of the keys on both accounts. For the colors use the arrow keys as I don't use them normally. Then to pop the bullseye I use the "Num 0" If I want to use 2 different colors its arrow keys, Num 0, arrow keys. If both are the same, Num 0 then arrow keys. Then as you guys posted after the target is defeated I hit F2 set assist back on main character.
    Thanks for all the information.

For my 3 hunter boxing, I assigned the assist fellowship as Ctrl + ` (tilda), for the color contribution I set ` (tilda) to the specific color for each char, not as versatile, but pretty consistent and reliable.

So when a FM is triggered, I hit Ctrl + tilda, now all toons are targeting Mains target directly, then ` (tilda) to contribute colors at same time, Then F2 or my F2, /follow macro to reacquire main as target. I have noticed if you press the fellowship assist twice it will lose target and pressing fellowship assist again will not target correctly, so careful not to double broadcast the mapped key for assit fellowship.

Also I recomend not setting the fellowship assist for your main to the same as your followers. I prefer to manually use the Assist Fellowship target icon with mouse, or at least to another key press, not broadcast to followers.

I was playing with 3 color straights, but getting correct order less then 100% of the time, so switched to main doing any color of choice and followers doing 2 color combos.

Notes for my set up, I use Ctrl and Alt as modifiers keys for diff hotbars, so my mouse thumb buttons are programed as Ctrl and Alt for fast presses without moving my left hand from number line on KB, so ctrl+Tilda is very easy and quick to execute.

I like using the direction keys for FM when solo playing, but find them very useful for movement when multi boxing, I do not broadcast WASD movement keys to followers, and use to control main, but use the direction keys for breaking follow and positioning in combat of followers.

Now, to take this one step further, I also keymapped my numkeys 1 thru 9 to uses slots 49 thru 57. On my Mistrel, I then put all of her healing abilities on those slots, starting wth Bolster Courage and ending with /follow. I then on my Hunter moved everything off those slots. So when I hit those keys only the Minstrel would respond. I have found this to work very well. I also used the num /*+- to move and turn the 2nd character. For those keys I used innerspace to send to all but current since I only run 2. I have found this to work very well. One of the other Minstrel's in our kinship went as far as asking me how to map out those num keys. Even he had to admit that using those keys helps alot in making healing 1 keystroke instead of 2.
