I appreciate all of your thoughts on this matter. I had a highly rated lock/rogue through the last couple of seasons and am quite used to beginning the attack encounters. I prefer to not be a dick and use any exploits.

Vyn, I healed through several barrages. I use the addon "ganklist". It passes gankers names between party members.

Fur, I agree with you. I think that damn boat is there to give a good firing angle.

My biggest problem was that I had the money to buy normal flyers, but I was too lazy to do it before I took the quest from the archmage and ended up there with no way to get out. I fixed that problem this morning and now I can just send 1 person down to pick up the quests and not be as noticeable.

I do love a good fight though. I had that 80 mage, an 80 rogue, 76 warrior and 77 pally all trying to kill me and I just threw mana totems down and healed through the whole thing. Twice.

Remember the names of the idiots who pull this crap.
It's a pvp server, so they're free to attack you whenever they feel like it.
At the same time, you're free to attack them as well.

A friend used to play on a pvp server, and had an account on the other faction.
Specifically to track idiots movements by putting them on the friends list, for the toon on their faction.
It makes tracking them down to gank them repeatedly an easier option, if that floats your boat.

On the pvp servers, there is safety in numbers.
Ask the zone if anyone would be willing to help kill the annoying mage, or whatever class is being the dork of the moment.
Join a guild maybe, and help them when you can, because they'll likely help you too.
When it becomes 10 toons on your side, its not as fun for the annoying 10-years olds.

    Umm...

Keep in mind the game is severely imbalanced right now. A single fire mage in naxx gear can drop 4 fresh 80 shaman almost instantly.

And usually its the raid geared players bored in the their non-raiding hours that do this kind of griefing.
Griefing? come on now its pvp. If you cant take it then hearth out.

Here is what you can do to stop them from attacking. Thunderstorm them. they go flying into the guards.

I try to get out of LOS of them, so they hvae to come to me. If they are stupid, they run in sight and attack and guard WTF-PWN them. If they are smart, they just wait for me to come out in the open. Guess what, then I can fight back. Just like mobs in an instance, use LOS to pull them.

My 2 crappy opinions. I think guards should be insta-killing machines on both sides. They should insta-kill anyone that casts, even if it is a heal or a defense move. Guess what, you would learn to not go to town and fight real fast.
Next as other people say, PVP happens. I think you should randomly die every few minutes on a PVP server. That is just incase there isn't a person there to gank you. That would teach you real fast to not complain about players killing you, since it happens anyway. If you don't like it, go to PVE server.

Side note - prepare to deal with this daily in Northrend at Nessingway's new camp.

I think Blizzard designed the boat for guard exploitation ON PURPOSE. Something to note that once you get powerfully enough, since there is five of you... just kill the damn guards.

This doesn't work everywhere, and sometimes results in a faction loss.
In wotlk there seem to be a lot of guards which you simply CAN'T attack. If they attack you they still stay neutral and you simply can't attack them. You can 'flee' But that does take about 5 minutes, since you have to be like 500 yards away from the camp.....

    Try this...
1 ) Have an opposing faction lvl 1 char on the same server you multibox.
2 ) Write the name of everyone who ganks you in unfair fight. I consider lvl 80 atacking my lvl 71 team completely fair and sometimes they die and sometimes I die. A lvl 80 atacking my lvl 40 team is a pure gank and should be punished.
3 ) When you feel bored just start tracking that person with your toon that has the same faction as him. Just add him to your lvl 1 opposing faction toon (spy) friends list.
4 ) Then go and gank him with your high level team.

I did this to a lvl 65 DK that was constantly killig my lvl 45 team in Tanaris preventng me from doing any quests for about 3 hours. My lvl 71 team got him camped during 4 days consecutively in Nagrand until he got some alliance friend whisper me with "Did he do something to you?" I replied "He camped my low level team during one day in Tanaris, so I'm paying it back x4".
Never got a reply back, but next time I saw this same guy in Tanaris with my low level team he just ran away the same moment I targeted him.

By 10x, I wasn't so much refering to 10 toons played by you, but more so to say your 5 box team that is being attacked, and 4 or 5 players of your faction who decide to help kill the offending prick.
If you play on a pvp server, you can do this to others and it will be done to you. That's the choice for the server type you choose.

Has to be on a seperate account for PVP servers - you are not allowed to have toons from opposing factions on a PVP server

Then again multiboxers aren't too worried about multiple accounts!

I destroy them and then let the guards kill me. Then I destroy them again...and again...and again. and if needed...one more time.

Default aren't there some addons that let you track them?

I thought there were adds that let you track people like this for a kill-on-site kind of thing.

you have the upper hand per say, you will always be in a group of 5 and they won't.
and if you have a guild of multiboxers... they will be QQ in no time.
