[Addon] Multiboxer V2

Hey,

i started working on a Multiboxer addon with some features of the original multiboxer and some new one.
All based on Ace.

You need this Addon on your Main and Alts/Slaves to use all functions

Current Version: 0.5

Short list of Features: (see Changelog for all)

- Simple GUI frame which displays following state and XP bar for alts/slaves
- Remote Quest Gossip and Taxinode Broadcast ( 1:1 like ZQB)
- Autoaccept SharedQuests and EscortQuests
- Autoaccept Rezzes, Invites (friendlist only), Repair all, Deny Duels (All as seperate option)
- Redirect Whispers/Tells to Main
- Autofollow Main after Combat
- Autoset ffa if groupleader
- Display alts Inventory if you trade.

ChangeLog:

- main requests inventory if you trade

- notifys you if slave could not follow you after combat
- also displays in error msg passthru the quest loot informations (yellow text thing which tells you, that you got 6 of 10 strider meats)
- fixed escort quests (autoaccept)
- fixed quest/gossip share now should work all gossips
- xp bar should update also if you level up or you return a quest.

0.3b:
- Only zipname differs, f*cked up some small stuff :)

- Added duel ignore
- Added autorepair
- You could hide the Gui
- Autoset FFA option
- Questfolow / selection like ZQB
- TaxiNode selection

- Included redirection of whispers to main
- display xp bar

- Auto Accept invites from friends
- Auto Resurrect
- Auto Follow the leader or a given name after combat ends
- simple Gui which displays follow status and error messages
- Auto Accept shared Quests
- Auto complete / accept Quests after rightclicking on Questgiver

Not possible features due lua restrictions:
- automatic trade accept after some seconds - (you must click on the trade accept button or use a macro. Its not possible due api restrictions to press the Accept trade button without a user reaction)

Possible features/changes
- see the slaves bags
- request a (or more) items from a slave (trade)
- modify the ugly info box :D (but how they should looklike?)
- remote buy from vendors for alts/slaves

Just look up the addon Automation, and multiboxer tool kit.

Copy every fuctionality of those 2, into one new mod that doesn't bug out, and then add the complete quest thing, and I will love you. Will replace 2 mods of mine.

I still use the original multiboxer. And I really don't like twinbox toolkit

What I would like to see is a community goal to integrate the various multi-boxing addons into a common framework. Tools like librpc have gone a long way towards allowing this to happen.

I like silent whisper, ZQB, partyXPbars etc and the way they accomplish a single task.... if these could use a common framework then it would allow us to take our pick on which functions we wish to integrate.

Yes there is a place for autofollow, whisper redirection etc... the problem is that there are currently so many ways to skin a cat that you will need to provide for many variables. e.g.

you can choose to follow by

1. Named character
2. focus
3. target
4. party1

you can target mobs by

1. /assist name
2. /assist focus
3. /assist target
4. /assist party1
5. [target=name-target]
6. [target=focustarget]
7. [target=targettarget]
8. [target=party1target]

i think i see what you mean. my goal is to create a addon which works for all users.
make all new features a option to allow the user to deside what he wants to use and what he don't like and disable.

i made the follow option as a setting. you could insert a name, or "target" or "party1" for the follow option.
targeting and following on the other hand is since the last patches really hard to solve with addons. but should be possible.
i wrote my last big mod 2006 so i have much to learn about secure frames

hey Djarid,

i just visited the topic. intresting stuff. also the libtrust thing.
the main problem i think is that more than one in your raid (bg) uses the tool.
so a way to communicate or the other ones to interfere with mine.

i also want to put the results to a gui element/rater than a textonly thing.

i will take a look to the code later this day.

Im being paraniod, Im scared of keyloggers so I only use addons approbev buy wowace.com, so Ill hold my horses on this one for a while!

But from what I can read here its pretty neat!

hey Rangvald,

its good to be scared about keyloggers, but you mostly safe if you don't run .exe files.
wow addons which are only written in lua and xml could not contain keyloggers. (which my one is by the way )

about the ace repository: i think my addon is quite to fresh for the repository but i looking forward to upload it there

so and now some conspiricy theories:
1. you could get a keylogger if you uses a old .zip tool and a spezific exploid for the zip file,
2. you also could do some harm with hacked images or videos
