Default JC Gems for a tank?

Should I just go with 3 X +27 Dodge or parry gems? I'm not short on defense, but it seems the best choice here for a pally tank is to use 3 of either of those.

Its pretty obvious which to use on my shammies that are JC's as well

parry is terrible stat, go with 41 stam or 27 dodge.

    as Niley said,
I'd prefer dodge or stamina, too.

Parry is not terrible at all, just more costly per % avoidance than dodge. However, thats before diminishing returns. In case you already have a huge lot of dodge rating, parry might give more avoidance than additional dodge, so I'd get myself something like ratingbuster and have a look (rb calculates dr).

I'd still go for dodge and stam unless your parry is severely behind your dodge.

Mix it up a bit, 1 stam and 2 dodge gems or something. I just dropped skinning on my DK last night and started leveling JC (~255 right now, will finish to 430 or so tonight probably) and I did it for the gems and to get a nice trinket until I can get a better one. Just JC alone will boost my tank's stats by a crapload

maybe I worded it worng, sorry it was around 2 or 3 am in the morning and i was a bit tired.
From looking at his armory, gemming for parry is a bad idea. Dodge and Stam are much better choice.

Well I leveled my JC on my DK tonight from 1-430 (~3500-4000g) and made myself a ruby hare, monarch crab, and made one solid dragon's eye. Wow. Between those 3 things My tank's HP went from 24.6k to 27.3k, almost a 3k hp gain. Plus my dodge went up by almost 1% and my defense went up by 3 points. Totally worth it, AND I can still make 2 more JC gems, probably 1 more solid dragon's eye and 1 +27 dodge gem, can't wait! Overgearing the tank just makes instances that much easier. Now I need to get some extra hp on my shamans for aoe protection.
