Default Time of post on Dual-Boxing.com

I live on the east coast (US). I have my settings set at the east coast. However, all the posts show a one hour time difference. In other words, I will post this message at 11:54 a.m. and the website will show it as 12:54 p.m. Am I going crazy or is something wrong with the site? Please note that I tried checking and unchecking the daylight savings time without any luck in changing the result.

The server (that the forum bases time on) is in a black hole and every attempt to fix this only leads to me being sucked into said black hole.

Good enough for me I'll just change to Central Time so the posting time looks correct.

    Search is good
I'd say 80% of questions could be answered through a search. If everyone searched then this would become a very boring forum very quickly. Plus, maybe someone will see this post and change their settings. They may not have been thinking about it at the time, but when someone sees a question from someone else then they start thinking about the issue.

Some of the reasons I disagree with all the posts that say "check the wiki" or something similar. Just don't respond to threads you're not interested in. I highly doubt this forum is in danger of having too many noob posts that nothing new can be discussed... there's just not a high enough membership.

The latest DST time change made that thread outdated, That thread was from when the server time was set to 15 hours ahead of CST / GMT -6. The server time IS currently off by 1 hour. I haven't tried to change it because it is a pain the ass.

When you're often bored at work and would like to read something about MB then yes, you pay attention to the post time. If I see a forum hasn't had a new post in the last hour and I know I already looked at that forum then there's no reason for me to check it.
