You always have to wade through idiots at the lower levels though, and they're readily apparent if you're looking for them.
Next time you're in that pool of players 1-69, ask them how may 80's they have, or how many 70's they had pre wotlk. I still find it amazing how many people never make max level, or do so, and immediately reroll, because they don't understand the concept of endgame.

True players (the non-idiots) will not spend much time at all between 1-79

Most idiots will claim they have many 80's and then flame you for even having 1 :P

/lol at the "true player" statement /facepalm >.<
"True" players do whatever entertains them, be it raiding end game or rolling alts.

I personaly usualy have 1-2 main characters i raid with, and many many alts (which I leveled solo) to see the class and learn the mechanics of it.
Basically to attack the game from a different angle. How can one think they are playing the class they'll enjoy the most when they haven't played them at a high level? Somehow to do that you need to level your toons.
as an example, i know i personaly really enjoyed levelling my rogue and warrior, but can't stand playing them in raids.

I also have friends that have been playing mid level toons for bloody ages, and they dont do much with those toons at all, just wander around, kill a couple mobs here and there and enjoy the game for what it offers when you're not rushing through the levels. Does that make them idiots?

heres what you do. Ive done this and it works its not an exploit, its not a scam

Start up 5 new accounst with the RAF do the DIGITAL upgrade only to regular WoW. grind all the way to 60 Transfer all the characters off these accounts to your main ones. Call blizzard and ask for a refund on the 5 accounts that you upgraded. Blizzard offers a 30 day money back guarentee on all games-period. if you went and bought store copies of the game you would have to send in the box and manuals to get the refund. I started 5 boxing 2 days before they announced the RAF promotion and i called blizz, told them i wanted a refund they froze the 5 accounts, gave me credit back on my CC and i started brand new ones.

and for the record you CAN transfer characters off a regular(not trial) account onto an upgraded(xpac) account.
LOL, someone just ran and tattled on you, in the Customer Service Forums over on WoW's site. You might want to keep an eye out though, and see if there's any official response on it.

Freaking tattletales are probably combing this site daily for stuff they can run over there and complain about.

And, wow, has the CSF forum gotten BAD, it's one post asking a question, and then 3 pages of the "regulars" arguing with the op. Yeah, real customer service there! Man, looks like Belfaire took all the fun with him when he left! (Or, maybe he left for good reasons...)

I'm still trying to figure out if upgrading to 10 computers was a good idea. I don't have the time I used to, and right now my 10 are still 74 for lack of play time or motivation to play. Sure, its cool to have 1 of each class, but after a while the single role classes get kind of boring and the multirole classes there isn't enough time to fiddle with and learn.

Now I'm just sitting here thinking how nice it would be to single box something that couldn't be reduced to spamming a single button or mousewheel.

Though I can't reply directly to Multiboxing but I will say that in my LIFE, I make atleast *ATLEAST!* 1 mistake that just haunts the hell out of me.

Like to the effect of "How could I of been so stupid, why the hell would I think that/do that?"

I played Alliance for about a year, then I started a troll shaman and played him for about 6 months. When I first started playing that shaman I would sometimes jump whenever I suddenly ran into another horde character. heh

I guess my biggest mistake was when I leveled a priest/mage duo to 60 and had them join my original mage from the days of when I first I started playing Wow. You know how you feel about the very first character you leveled up? That toon may not be your favorite anymore but it'll always have a special place in your heart. Here I had my first multibox team above 60 on Alliance side with my all time favorite toon in it, and a friend of mine talked me into rerolling horde, (cause he hated Alliance). So now I have a team of 70's on the horde side that I enjoy playing, and will probably play for a couple more years, but I sure miss my first multibox team.

Never say never but I'm pretty sure I won't be going back to my first multibox team. HORDE ALL THE WAY BABY! (Unless I'm asked to play Alliance, then it'll be "ALLIANCE RULEZ!")
