Default Suvega's Multibox friendly 10 dailies per day. [600g/day]

Ok, so multi-boxing's bread and butter money (besides runnign instances, messing up a pull and getting WTF pwnd heh) is doing dailies. So I figured I shoudl share what I do each day to get my 10 dailies done on all of my 5 characters.

First recomendation is get epic flying mounts (yes I know you're going to stab me here but its worth it). I've had em for a while now, and they help TREMENDOUSLY on efficency of daily quests, as well as opening netherwing dailies (revered so far....). Basically with a 26k gold investment, you can double the gold you make from dailies.

    So on to my pattern:

    1. So I start in Netherwing, grab the following quests: (I'm honored, so some of these require netherwing rep).
    2. Booterang, A slow death, Dragons are the least of our problems, and the 20 kill quest in nagrand (don't konw the name, too lazy to look it up).
    3. Go do the dragons are the least of our problems. Run in the mine, look for eggs, and gather up a big ton of flayers and ravageres. AOE, you're done.
    4. Fly to skettis (epic mounts ftw!), Go by the east and north east escort spawn on teh way to the bombinb quest start. If an escort is up, grab it and do it. Get the bombing quest, fly around and finish it.
    5. Turn in both quests. Take quick transport up to ogrilla. Pick up 4 daily quests (bombing, banishing, wrangling, memory).
    6. Fly south, and wrangle your 5 nether rays. Go to memory game spot and aoe the thing. Have your NON-ENCHANTER start the BIG summoning quest (35 shards). you need 6 in a row, just plant a character at each spot. Super easy.
    7. Guy comes after you complete. Kill it and give the apexis crystal to your enchanter.
    8. Fly north to th demon area. Dismount from the flying mounts and mount on your land mounts. Go to a camp and gather up a bunch of demons. Slap down a portal AOE. (should be about half done with banishing quest)
    9. Plant your 4 guys in the middle of the camp, get on your flying mount on your main and bomb 15 stacks around the camp you're in. Land, gather more mobs, finish the banishing quest.
    10. Run back to skyguard, turn everything in. Buy the blue cloak from teh quartermaster with your enchanter, and D/E into a LPS.
    11. Get on your flyign mounts, and fly down to nagrand. Drop down to the camps of mobs (not the warlocks), and aoe. Should take about 3 camps to kill 20 mobs.
    12. Now fly over to SMV, to just west of BT, and gather up a bunch of the greater felfire diemetriedons (sp?). AOE them and get 12 fel glands on your main. Make sure to loot a couple extra on another character incase quest bugs).
    13. Finally fly down to netherwing, and fly around slapping peons with your booterang. When you have about 15/20 slapped, drop down and start poisioning. Finish it up and turn in everything.

Total money: 122g per character from dailies only (not greys, cloth, or enchanting stuffs). Time is about an hour and a half if you are efficient.

I'd like to point out, for those who think maybe we sell gold / accounts.

    Level up to 70.

    > 20k investment in epic flyers (> $800).

1.5 hours to get 600 gold.

    $75 / month plus electricity.

Cost of the computer(s) ($1500 or more).

    Roughly $28 or ~ $19 per hour.

But limited to once per day. And that is the retail price, you would be lucky to get $8 for it.

So, nearly minimum wage for 1.5 hours, once a day after you factor the other costs in.

Supposedly they are upping the number of dailies you can do each day to 25 with the next patch.

Yeah I did the math too :P I was like, hmm about 18$ an hour, once a day for about a 1000$ investment. (26k gold total).

Thats basically making a 1000$ investment to earn LESS then I do per /hr at work inch:

Running instances, you can get a decent amount per hour, but again, the risk associated to reaping the rewards (selling gold), basically takes a 360 hour investment down the drain

For more fun math, we'll say a 15 days played to 70. * 24 hours = 360 hours of playing investment. We'll say a rough 35$ an hour from normal work.

Thats a 12,600$ investment (for my standard of work). Running instances, gets you probably about 300-400g / hr if you are really hauling ass and not f'ing up on pulls. 9$.

Basically I've spent 12,600$ to make it so I LOSE 26$ an hour every hour I play(and not work thusly), not to mention HIGH RISK to the investment. (GMs > economics)

Yeah, as you mentioned, you also have to factor in the opportunity cost here. My "real job" if you will pays significantly more than a few dozen an hour.

So you "lose" that - plus you have to factor in other fun items like RSI injury potential, possibility of getting banned, etc.

So you basically wind up losing money and doing the same "job" over and over again. Fun? I don't think so. Profitable? No way.

If you sell gold to places like IGE there isn't alot of chance to actually get banned.

If you invest time as said is 7 days play time even at minimum wage (160 hours or so for 70) is over 1000$ worth
If you make 300 gold per hour and sell it to a wholesaler for 1/2 the worth you are making about 9$ an hour... lets assume you get 1k gold in 3 hours and you sell it to a wholesaler for 1/2 the value (normally 45$) thats 25$ for your 3 hours of work so that is only about 7$ an hour.

If you were to level the characters, get them gear and epic flyers and such... it StILL wouldn't be worth it because you could only sell each for like 500$ cause most people dont spend a grand on characters anymore. So you are looking at a maximum of 2500 for the job and it takes over 250 hours to get everything you need for a successful sale.

There is no money in WoW anymore.

The only way to make money is to get a 2v2, 3v3, 5v5 team to 2k+ rating and maintain it while selling 10 game sessions for 1k gold on each. If you do this you can make approximately 10k gold per day as part time work. This means you get 200$ for 1 day's part time work (5-6 hours) that is over 40$ an hour.

If you do this with say 3 people you can make 5x of each team and make huge amounts of profit... but the time it takes to get to the point where you can sell points is retarded....

You'd have to make your own WoW website and sell gold for a single server for cheap... and then blizzard would just ban the administrator's ip address and such from their servers and eventually figure out what characters are the farmers and such and in the long run it turns into a wasted 500+ hours.

The ONLY way to make money is to cheat and dupe items. If you can't do that don't bother trying (my friend dax does this, can make over 100k gold a day on every server both horde and alliance) He's made litterly millions selling gold... but he's an exception. He also is in jail right now for fraud against the government and wont get out for another 6 months or so.

You either play WoW cause ur addicted, wanna be the best, spend time with irl friends, or wanna make money. The last one doesn't happen too often... and if it does ur getting minimum wage when you could actually have a social life with a real job.

All of you thinking in a BOX, Every time you guys mentioning using multi-boxing to make real money either by selling gold, or selling accounts, leveling service, or any other power services...

    Here example how to multi-bot:

as long as you attending to more then one thing at time, it is called "Multi", if you in control it is "-boxing" if you use glider it is "-boting", and if you making dinner while checking on email, and watching episode of House, it is "Multi-tusking", it is as simple as this.
not that I ever did that myself or suggestion it, but it is just one of example how some do this.

Troof that botters are too dumb to use things like tripods, much less video capture applications. They just re-use premade "botting software" to help with their ezmode farming.

Anyway, botting conversation aside -- can we take the botting versus boxing contrast conversation to another topic? I don't want botting to be confused with a legitimate how-to thread on efficient ways to do your dailies. It's too valuable a topic to get deleted just 'cuz we got distracted with a discussion on RMT (Real-Money Trade).
