xkey2 not mapping =/

so like the title says xbutton2 wich is my front left mouse button is not mapping ive tried to different mice my razor copperhead and also tried an emperex commando neither of wich i can get this button to map with im using windows vista ultimate and keyclone1.8k anyone know how to fix this?
Also my other mouse buttons seem to be mapping fine wich are xbutton1 wich is my back left mouse button and mbutton wich is the scroll wheel. just not xbutton2=/
ive looked over several simliar posts to this ..this one here being the closest and ive also tried the irc channel but have yet to find a solution.
