Default which computer processors can you end

Ok not sure if this is where to go with this topic but it seemed like the right place. When you goto your task manager processor tab which ones can you shut down to maximize your computer usage. If any one has knowledge on this would be great cause at the time i dont want to buy two more computers and two more keyclones but now that im in nr im getting fps dropping. I mean one mine they all sitting at 32 fps then every now and then they all drop to below 5 just sitting there. Im not sure if its just wow or my computer but my computer is still new and never did this before.
They say spiders have 8 legs well i guess im a rare and unimaginable specimen. Ive got 9 legs and my web comes from that 9th leg. HaHa.

i watch the processes on my pc from time to time but the best advise to shut down the ones you dont need is just to watch it, start closing things and if it does something to your pc just reboot and leave that one up, i can tell you that every pc has different ones going and do not end the explorer process lol.
other than that just start closing them one by one

Let them hate, as long as they fear.

First, which operating system are you using. There are some processes that can be terminated in vista that don't even exist in XP.

Second is this a brand name computer (dell, xp) or is this a computer that you put together yourself. If it is brand name computer it is likely to have a whole lot more crappy apps running in the background then a fresh install of windows.

Third, how many wow accounts are your running? what kind of CPU do you have (speed, cores)? how much RAM do you have and what kind? what is your graphics card?
This may seem irrelevant, but if something is not up to par, when windows needs to run periodic tasks, that is when you are going to notice the low FPS.
