Started 11-23-08, will ding 80 by Wednesday

Wow, I was worried that my RAF was going to run out and I still think I want to bring up a pally & shammy. So, I checked my email and found out that my first RAF was started on 11-23-08. I leveled that toon to 55 and then decided I wanted two more so I started Weirdowl and Owlive.

I will hit 80 by Wednesday (currently 77.5). I'm amazed that it has been less than 1.5 months and I will have a team of three druids ready to reak havoc in BGs and be easy kills in arena! While I'm sick of leveling, I do not feel that I have been powering through the levels and am going at a medium pace.

DeathWalker, if you read this post then you should really reconsider your current strategy. You could have 25 lvl 80 toons in about 4 months if you did it the way everyone is suggesting. Get one team to 60 then start on another team. Keep repeating until you have 5 teams at 60. If money isn't an issue (for transfering toons to different accounts) then use your grant-a-level wisely and you'll only have to level a couple teams all the way to 60. Then start leveling depending on who has rest exp (use one team for a day, then another team the next day, etc). You'll be 80 in a reasonable amount of time and you will actually be able to experience all that you have been talking about (raiding, mass AoE, etc).

Blizzard's approach apparently is that the game starts at the current highest level, so they no longer seem to consider the leveling path as a journey. More like a speed bump. When I came back from my short hiatus, I picked up my level 62 hunter and had him at level 70 within days, and the only reason he is not 80 already (he is 78, about 20% from 79) is because I've been messing around with my shaman (now 73) and doing tradeskills and achievements and the like. Since I am running solo now (no guild, no regular group, etc) I figure I can do things at whatever pace I want. So I have not been rushing to level... and I'm still leveling fast.
