Yes, and got 3 books after 2 months or so of killing it.
It's really easy, but you need someone with high level fishing, some time and you have to complete the quest to summon the boss.
After that it's just running in, killing a few trash mobs at the fish nodes, angling a while and then summon the boss. Killing it is really easy at 80 (or 60).
