I get the impression that Blizzard wanted to make mob-grinding less efficient than straight questing. Quest reward experience isn't astronomically high, but you get lots of quests that can be completed quickly and often piggy-backed in an area. So you kill 10 of mob A, collect three pages for a book, kill named mob B, and poison a food platter... presto 80,000-90,000 exp from rewards and it took about 5-15 minutes to complete, and now you have two other quests in that area that will each give 30,000 reward exp and an item. It's pretty sick. For a multiboxer that means that you don't even worry much about how much exp-per-mob you're getting, you just want to blow through the quests and suck up the reward exp.Originally Posted by 'Lyonheart',index.php?page=Thread&postID=166653#po st166653
I'm looking forward to my team hitting 68 and just heading straight to Northrend for quest grinding to 70/71.
