Default Trouble getting 5th window to display

I hope I haven't missed this in the wiki, the stickies, or the FAQs. I tried to do some research before posting this question. The good news is that by following the information on this forum I have been able to make good progress so far.

However, I'm getting stuck trying to get my 5th window to display.

    My setup...

    One PC
    Two monitors
    Five accounts

I set maximizer to send one window to my main monitor (run my tank from there) and the other 4 to the second monitor. I configured the four windows on the second monitor as a "grid" layout. Basically one upper left, one upper right, one lower left, one lower right. I then set up 5 commands (wow1, wow2,etc) associated with the 5 windows. Then I set the 5 commands to run on startup (on the general tab).

The problem is that wow1, wow2, wow3 and wow5 run but wow4 does not. This is the window that should be in the lower left quad of the second monitor. I have played with resolution, made sure there were no typos (I use all lower case as a rule), removed and recreated the commands, etc. I wonder if I'm missing something simple?

Again, if this has been answered elsewhere I'm sorry I missed it. Thanks for your help and Happy New Year!

check your layout under maximizer... look at the region name... make sure there are no spaces and no uppercase characters.

then go to your command editor and select wow4... check the region name... make sure there are no trailing spaces

then, try running JUST wow4... what happens?

Thanks for the suggestions Keyclone. I double checked those items. Also removed and re-entered everything being careful of leading/following spaces. I wasn't sure how to run just one command so I removed the other 4 commands from the "startup" area leaving wow4 there alone. I closed then relaunched keyclone and nothing happened. No windows opened.

Thinking of trying to rename the region and the command maybe??

ahhh... sounds like the 'program...' is incorrect. hit the 'program...' button and re-find the wow.exe

as a way of confirming you have chosen the correct .exe, the wow:username will only enable if you have selected wow.exe

it does not check that the file actually exists, just that the entry ends with wow.exe

also, you can run a command without having to put it in the startup area. on the main keyclone screen, to the right of the 'connect' button, just type the name of the command (wow4) and hit connect ONCE (otherwise you'll get a wow for each click)

let me know if that helps,

    Rob

Looks like that was the problem. Working nicely now. Thanks for the tip on running a single command. I knew that field was for connecting to remote clients, but did not know you could run a command from there.

    Thanks for the help.
