Kavoom or vertra switchcaster? which is better?

Ok I am in the process of switch over to full hardware on multiboxing. I was using one computer for 5 shamams. I have 4 new computers comming and getting ready to order the vetra megacaster with the kvm switch built in. I know when using the vetra switchcaster you have to press the button on the box but with the program kavoom it automatic does it for you when moving the mouse curser to the other screen. But I have heard that hardware is the way to go? Can someone give me some advise on which route to go pls?
