    Default Heroic Azjol Nerub

Ok I hate this place. I'm looking for some tips on how to beat this damn dungeon. The first encounter I have only beaten once (!) on heroic and I feel I was pretty lucky. I run 1 paladin and 4 shaman (all elemental) and I feel that hex is not a good CC. The mobs still run into group and with all the AE stuff going on they break right out of it. So I get that you kill the Skirmishers first or you will likely lose a teammate, however the caster mob or the main mob will usually kill someone before we get him down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2nd boss: Any tips on where to position that makes the puddles more manageable? Totem setups? I run with poison cleansing and nature resist. Hadronox usually kills my team before I even have to heal my tank. Did I mention I hate this instance?

and lastly, is there a way to guarantee that hadronox comes up and actually webs the damn doors shut? I would say that on normal this punk either doesn't come up or doesn't web the doors 9 out of 10 times.

p.s. I hate this instance, wish my Essence of Gossamer dropped somewhere easy like Utgarde Keep. ;(

    Yes heroic, normal is easy.

On heroic there is no way you can get to him before you are overwhelmed. I have tried many times. Once you get 10+ spiders on your tank, no amount of healing will keep him up.

Yea it's a well known bug, I havent seen any blue post on it yet though. Just frustrating as I finally made it past the first boss and then the stupid spider wouldnt come up! ARRGG! Also I thought about resetting the instance, but I don't believe thats possible on heroic since you can only run it once a day??

Ok might have to try that then, if I make it past the first boss X(

I may try this later today as well and let you know. I need that tanking stam trinket from the 2nd boss as well. That is pretty much as far as I would go cause I never did beat Anub'Arak on normal mode so I can only imagine how hard this is on Heroic.

I completed this instance on heroic, and I'd call it one of the hardest things I ever did in WoW to multibox it. It'd be hard enough with a real group.

First boss - I pulled the left group first because it has a skirmisher. I burned all the mobs down as quickly as I possibly could, and healed a lot with a glyphed holy nova to avoid the priest taking aggro. I popped a heroism for the trash and not for the boss because if you fall behind on the trash, you wind up with tons of poison stacks and skirmishers and - worst of all - your healer winds up stunned in the web and you can't heal for 8 seconds or whatever. Make sure to stay near your team and consecrate or whatever AOE taunt you got, especially once the boss comes out. Paladin tanks, you can stun with your holy wrath so use it wisely. Once the boss is out, he's pretty squishy, but with so many adds you can never breathe easy until he dies.

Second boss - this boss seems fairly easy, though it didn't bug on me this time around. I just pulled the trash myself and then it started coming on its own. It's a lot easier than the first boss' trash. I really didn't use any strategy on him. An all-out burn did the trick. You do need to AOE heal through his poison, though.

Anub'arak - Multiboxer hell. I wiped many, many times on this, and when I downed it it was miraculous, and my whole team didn't make it. First of all, he does some HUGELY damaging moves that you can sometimes move out of, but often it bugs and ends up hitting you anyway at some mysterious time. He also does AOE which will keep your healer using up valuable mana that you'd rather save for the adds. When the adds come out, it seems pretty basic at first, but spikes keep knocking people in the air. A boxer won't be able to avoid these pretty much at all, so you have to keep eating them which slows down your DPS. Worse yet, each spike can hit more than one character at once, so you want to spread out, but spreading out makes it harder to reliably AOE heal and to tank all the adds! Then to top it all off, on the third and fourth phases of adds, the posion spitters do incrediblly high damage AOE, so you got even more AOE healing drain going on, and even if you drop poison cleansing and nature resist totem, you still take tons of damage, and then you have to worry about not having your mana stream as your healer goes OOM. Ugh.
My strategy was to group my followers up a little too tight so that they would be able to be holy nova healed up while they were in the air, because the thing that always wiped me was the add poison and then going OOM. Somehow grouping up and taking more hits from the spikes was still superior ro spreading out. Don't get me wrong, I spread out enough that only 2 or 3 at once would be spiked, but still. I had to use every mana cooldown I had, and I had to have my DPS shaman heal a few times at the end because my healer couldn't take it. I survived the final add phase with one dead and everyone else at 10% with no mana left to heal with. The tank was able to grab the boss at which point I had enough mana for a heal, then I was just barely able to keep going to the end of the fight.
Once again, you need ridiculous amounts of healing even with poison cleansing and the whole thing going, the fight is long, and the boss itself does enough damage at times to kill your tank before you know it. Don't box this instance unless you're really well geared, or you like pain.

Anyone with the green cloud, that is healed, also heals the boss, its easier tto just strafe out of the cloud ever-so-slightly and continue to burst and heal.

This second boss died so quickly that I didn't even know what happened. The first and last bosses were the real horrors. Man, I'm still feeling the effects of the raised blood pressure from those two.

Hmm I hoping the second boss goes better than the first time around on normal. My guys all died in the slime (just couldnt seem to move them fast enough) and the boss was at 50% with my tank needing relatively no healing.
