I figured out part of my problem. Pebkac. I reloaded vista and neglected to wipe clean the G15 default profiler keymaps. I use Innerspace to bind the G15 directly, so I had 2 different sources firing off keystrokes at the same time, hence my auto shot starting when It wasn't supposed to. /doh
