    Default Recruit-A-Friend Questions

    1. Can you give levels to the person you recruited? The grant a level button isn't greyed out for me but I was under the impression that it wasn't possible.

    2. If you, for example, level a level 31 character to 60 through grant a level, will that character have 15(14?) level points of their own or 29?

    Default RAF Gifting

Not quite sure from your wording but I think this is what you're asking:

If you have an account with a low level toon named Garfield that has RAF'd a second account with a toon named Odie... when Odie hits 40, he'd have 39 levels to grant to any toon 40 or under on the same account as Garfield. This is Blizzard's way of thanking Garfield for recruiting Odie. Whether or not you happen to be both Garfield and Odie or if you actually RAF'd a friend who played and leveled.
    Hunter/D. Priest 60.........70.........80
    ProtPally + Holy 60.........70.........80
    Boomkin + Shamen 60.........70.........80

    1. No. it doesnt go that way. granting levels goes from RECRUIT to REFERER. its one way. sorry.

    2. This will not work because the premise is dependent on the answer to question #1 being YES, but the answer to question #1 is NO.

I think you meant to say if Odie hit 40, he'd have 20 levels to grant Garfield, not 40. You gain 2 levels to grant per one level, not one.

    Default RAF Gifting

    Seconding elsegundo's answer to OP's question #1.

As for #2, provided that the character is in the referred account and that the "receiving" character is in the referee account (as elsegundo mentioned in a previous post), then the character in question will have 14 levels to grant at level 59 (therefore, leveling it to 60 will not have any effect on the levels that is grantable). This is assuming that the level 31 character was transferred to the referred account beforehand.

And sorry, just a minor correction regarding the quoted posts below: elsegundo is correct in saying that you'll have 19 levels to grant once "Odie" hits 40. Remember that you start at level 1 and that the first giftable level is gained at level 3.
