Any 4x druid teams hit up 5v5 yet in WOTLK?

Greetings, I was curious to see how you guys running 4x druid teams (with another person healing?) are doing in arena so far? Have any of you hit it up yet in WOTLK? The ability to stealth and get a good starting position + opener just seems so huge as a boxing team, not to mention rofltreants / starfall / typhoons / etc...seems like people would eigther die from the massive AoE or be like WOW WTF is happening

i've done a bit with a resto shaman friend, unfortunately the burst/aoe is so out of control right now that without a shitload of resil, my toons drop before i can finish popping starfall/treants. stealthing around doesn't seem to help a ton, just makes them target the resto sham first, who dies before he's out of cc. it's really hard to have fun in pvp when you have next to 0 survivability. hopefully this improves when the gear gets better, but it's kind of a discouraging start. we went 2-12 the first day

had the same experience the first week and decided to take a break until i got some decent starter gear. been bg'ing with a crack-addled fervor since then and just broke 450 resil on my drooz last night. hoping to get back in the arena soon to give it another go.

but i must say that i'm owning the bgs now that i can actually take a punch. especially since i took pengwyn and evilseed's advice and have started popping my alts into boom whenever any melee or hunters are on me (my alts often drop form to keep the hots rolling). ever since breaking 16k armor in moonkin, the dks/rogues/warrior/and fret pallies can't really dent them before getting burned down. also, finally set up hkn to do my treants and hurricane one click (pleasantly surprised at how easy this was), which has been a very nice addition to my arsonal.

still have high hopes for them in arenas eventually. 4xstarfall bought up for 15% stun chance (average of 12 stuns per 80 stars) is --simply put-- one of the most crushing abilities in the game.

It's not 5v5, but I'll be starting 3v3 with boomkins this week. I should ding 80 tonight and will be in arena either tonight or tomorrow. I don't plan on winning a game, though, with zero resil, low health/armor, and crappy gear for poor damage. Hopefully I can take down one of the other team

actually won a couple in 5v5 this week. sadly, right now my fifth is a mage, and tho he is very good at pvp, i don't think that is the most synergistic partner class. luckily, his tree druid is only a couple levels from 80, so i'm looking forward to trying the stealth ambush strategy with a healer.

though since the mage would go invis and follow me around to flank them, and when we'd pop out he'd cast mirror image, i can only imagine what the other team was thinking when four boomkins and four mages and twelve trees came out of nowhere. pretty hilarious really. sadly, pallies and dks can often survive that initial wave of crushing dmg that we'd put out. and since basically every team has multiple pallies and dks, and we had no healing, if they survived the first twenty seconds, we were pretty much dead meat larusso.

During my 10 games of 5v5 I got wtfpwnt by a druid 5boxer. I was laughing and excited just to see another boxer. I tried to reque and get him again but I never saw him again. I got typhoon x 5 and trees.. My characters were all split up and getting starfire stunned. By the time I could do anything I was dead. Maybe I will see him next week when I do my ohter 10 games. I love meeting other boxers in the bg's and arenas. I have only been up against a few in arena.
