My moonkin mentors, how do you deal with fear? I'm more concerned with PvP, but even in PvE when I go about on my starfall/treants AoE pulls when one mob fears then it's such mayhem that a moonkin will likely bite the dust.

Assuming that you plan to arena, are you going to try to spread out with formation to avoid mass fears? Trinkets all on a keybind?

not to answer for them, but in my case fears can suck sometimes, but generally don't ruin me since my cows can start hotting each other as soon as it expires, regardless of facing and a bit of space. and i personally have my trinket on a very simple sequence such that one press trinks my main, and two presses trinks the whole group. only started doing that since my main ends up the target of way more single toon cc attempts.

also, if you are juggling the bastards with typhoons on rotation, they rarely can get a cast off to begin with.

every since 3.0.2 dropped, melee aoe has been my biggest enemy in pvp, and getting fear bombed actually sometimes saves me by getting my guys clear of it for long enough to get all hotted up. but in general i just keep my druids moving whenever there are ret or dks in my grill, since their aoe is stationary. warrior whirlwind still hurts pretty damn bad, if they manage to actually get in close enough to pop it.

generally the best method for dealing with fear is avoiding situations where you can get feared. if you see a warrior/priest/warlock running towards you, typhoon the hell out of them. If you do get feared and don't have your trinket on CD, you might pop barkskin, you can use that while feared. or make sure you always have a sham with you :P
