    That's great info thanks. ;p
I'd be very interested in how your Arena gear helps with generating RP on top of your combo ;p
I also want to point out an option I'm debating. It seems frost spec will guarantee Howling blast to crit 100% chance due to deathchill. IF I'm able to just maximize damage via raid gear and what not, I could see myself outdamaging a group very quickly and effectively. It's either that or get resilience, and added to frost presence post-patch, I would have very good damage mitigation. Dot's are what hurt me the most, due to it breaking past armor and usually I AMS through big hits. Hungering cold will apply a frost fever to the 5man team I'm fighting, and howling blast will do double damage to any target affected with it, doens't have to be same characters'. Therefore a HC, followed up with a HB then another HC and follow up with 5x Frost strikes on a single target, but that won't ever work due to the chaotic nature of this game. I'd like to see the numbers I can do in 4k+ ap instead of the 2300 I have now.

Nice and your right, with CC and esp mages AoE which every Arena team seems to pack atm,I struggle to get off one maybe 2 rotations.
But one thing that greatly increased my damage as a Frostie was:-
    Horn of Winter (UP)
    Chains of Ice/or Icy touch
    Pestilence
    Deathchill
    Howling Blast
IF you can also get 5x D&D at the start it really helps melt them down, but atm I find it difficult.
I'd be interested in how after the patch things go for you in Arena and BG,especially with frost.;p

ya the three man dk team might be better for the healers

ya that ranged frost attacks do seem like they have some death knight potential for hurting people.

I must say ya there are some vulnerabilities alright. I wonder how having a stun lock combo for the ghouls (and the orc dam bonus) would help if you had a ranged macro in. a death knight could very easily ranged frost frost blood blood deathcoild and then have 4x frost at his finger tips

i got my dks to 68 last night and started northrend today. almost level 69 now. this is just a fabulously fun team to play. they are badass as well. at level 65 i started killing level 80s in full epic gear. one fun thing the other day in outland a level 80 hunter was mounted on his flyer and landed then started running (mounted) right towards me. i knew he wasn't just coming to say hi. i death gripped him and whack whack..he tried to fly off..death grip...whack whack..tried to fly off..death grip whack whack....thud. he died. so freaking funny i wish i had that on video.

    Nice ;p
That also works wonders against mages in BG PvP too, even if they IceBlock
Just keep them targetted and pump Chains of ice, when they unfreeze+ blink DG them and drop Howling Blast.
Oh and Blizz have changed the spec on Dreadplate Gauntlets, from 10 sec reduction on strangulate CD to chance of refreshing Frost Rune when using Chains of Ice.

I'm only doing 2 DKs (unholy primarily in blood pres.) but ya the DK team is really awesome. One is undead for WotF, the other is b.elf for an extra silence. They are lvl 79.2% now. I've been actively hunting lvl 80s (2 vs 1 ofc) since about 74-75. Basically I attack all ally on sight while I'm questing/grinding. Unless it's a pally or a sickly geared warrior, I can usually kill them w/out losing one of my pair.

I plan to do 2v2s but I dont plan on doing well with the current state of arena......but my duo is pretty kickass in BGs and world PvP.

In BGs, I dont draw as much attention as a 5 boxer so I dont have half of the other team gunning for me. I like to lay in wait at a choke point, drop 2 DnDs, DG and Chain an unlucky soul away from the main pack, and dps him down in 3-4 seconds. I keep my other DG and Chain for if he tries to run away. If others see me and come to assist my victim, I have another pair of DnDs, 2 gargoyles, and 2 Unholy Blights waiting for them. Most ppl see the double DnDs and find something else to do or they try to range me and get sucked in. Both of my chars are usually in the top 10 for kills and dmg for AV and WG. I usually play def on AB. Haven't done much EotS or SotA yet.

In World PvP, i just K.O.S. A lotta times I win just by the 'wtf' factor. I start with a ghoul stun, 3 diseases x 2, then Scourge Strike x 2. If they aren't dead yet, the 2nd ghoul stuns and it's all over but the crying at that point. It seems not many on my server are familiar with multiboxing. I've had some ally walk right up to me just to stare...ofc they die soon after.

Just wanted to drop my 2c about multiboxing DKs in PvP.

I would just like to point out that lichborne causes you to become undead. Death coil can heal undead. Properly glyphed, you can get 4 death coils out of each death knight (20 RP per cast, requires at least 40 RP to cast). You could make a macro that causes one guy to pop lichborn and then the rest of your team to bombard him with death coils. Delicious.

im leveling 5 DKs, they are level 66 in BEM, i've only done kill quests so far, hoping to scrape through BEM with enough rested to get 67 for a quick level in Netherstorm. Its good fun Im going to replace one DK with a pally @ 70 and level them up, so then i have either a pally tank or perhaps a healer..undecided, but with new spec system in place i can have both. As for the PVP side of it...i wont bother, im just too reliant on my Shaman totems But i might do a few BGS with 1 shaman and 4 DKs.

4 Elemental Shaman and 1 Unholy DK is Evil.
If the Shammies are static I just float the DK on their perimeter casting Chains of Ice of Touch of Frost/Pestilence then CL.
For more Defense D&D with Magma or Nova over the Shams.
    Its especially useful for Rogues.
I tried various combos, but settled with 4x1 it was the easiest and most effective,4 melee and 1 healer/caster class was too much like hard work.
