Default Few questions / need support

    Hi there,
im new on multiboxing (yeah i know.. everybody here is actually telling the same) and ive got a few questions:
    1) I'll level 2 chars from 1-60 (on 2 different accounts with the recruit a friend bonus) - how long does it take till i hit 60 with both chars? Is it possible to level in the same time as with one single char (for example my hunter - now lvl 40 - has 1 day 12 hours played)? I dont want to spend more than 3 days /played in leveling those 2 chars.
    2) Is it necessary to install a second screen? (Or just easier?)
    3) What addon is the best for quest accepting / taxi / complete quest and so on?
    4) Is there anyone who can support me via ICQ or MSN? (PM me!)

Ive read most threads about being new on multiboxing and getting started!

    1) if you hardcore it, it dosen't take long at all with RAF, way less than 3 days played, i had 1 day 6 hours on a 5 team.
    2) not necessary
    3) jamba
    4) click the wiki up top and it will walk you through what you need help with.

Let them hate, as long as they fear.

1 - Are you leveling your R-A-F characters with or without the help of a third (presumably higher level) character?
With R-A-F it is entirely possible to level 5+ characters to level 60 in under 22 hours played. My personal best times were about 18/19 hours for 2 characters up to 60... and about 25 hours for 5 played up to 60. My worst time was about 3 days played for 5 characters (before RAF) to 60. Others have experienced similar results, but your mileage may vary (most of us have done the 1-60 grind multiple times... your times will improve as you figure out the best routes, etc.)

2- It's not necessary to install a second screen - unless if you like to have wowhead.com or some informative site up to accompany you while you go through quests.

3- Maybe someone else has a better answer for this. For me, I accept with 1 character and then hit the *share quest* button. This works for about probably 95% of quests in WoW, except for those where an NPC gives you an item; in which case I click through the npc/quest on all of my toons.

    Cheers

RAF. and no collection quests if you can avoid it.

So by doing quests? No grinding? Can you probably level with a guide like Joanas or Zygors and just skip the collecting quests?

do you really need a guide when you're getting 3x exp for kills and turnins?

save your money. most of us have done this without guides. or.... check out the thread on leveling RAF from 1-60. its somewhere on the forums. just look. its there.

Definitely get Jamba, and read how to set it up.

Actually leveling guides are counterproductive to some extent. Because, Joana's often has you avoid group quests, which is what you really want to be doing.

    Instead, read this thread:

Horde and Alliance Multi Boxing RAF 1-60 Leveling Guide

It gives you everything you need to do JUST the right quests for a RAF group. You skip virtually all collecting quests unless the drop rate is 100% and only a few items are required. It is about as idiot proof as you can get: BIG ARROW POINTING TO WHERE TO GO NEXT, reminders that toon X has to turn in a quest. (You know those turn-ins when the questigiver undergoes some animation and then is unavailable for another turn in for a while so you forget to turn in the quest with the rest of your group.)

It might be worth your while to make toons to be left in capital cities (UC, Org for Horde) for quick transport via summon friend. In fact, the tourguide uses this trick early on to get you from Durotar to the BE starting area... clever trick

If you don't screw around, you can RAF 2 toons to 60 in under 2 days played without breaking a sweat. Ideally, you want to be spending your RAF time leveling up as many toons to 60 as you can stand and use up all your gift levels. Because, after RAF runs out, it will seem so painfully slow you will never want to level again.

    Yeah big thx!
    But i've one more question:
Which classes are the best? No Shaman+Shaman setups, just other classes. I guess the best would be Shaman+Mage or something like that, it seems much easier than warrior+warlock for example..
I try to level till im 20 tonight, i hope everything is going to be allright

EDIT: Lol it took me about 2 hrs for lvl 10 (the same time like solo lvling) - but of course im new on dualboxing.. well it would be fine if i would hit lvl 60 in the same time my other solo lvled chars did^^

I think if you're new to the whole idea, I would go with 2 of the same class. It will streamline many things for you until all the mechanics are second nature.

Ideally, 2 ranged dps classes that can heal and rez would be ideal to start with: shammie, druid, priest. I'm not saying that those are the best duo teams, just that there will be less micromanagement, they share class specific quests, quest rewards etc. Any team of 2 will roll through single player content without issues.
