2 Hunters which Pets & Questions

Hey guys,

I have a question, as you can see above I'm currently running 2 Hunters , current Pets are Wolf (AP Group buff) and now the Gorilla (Thunderstomp AoE Tanking) know my question.

Should I keep my Wolf for the AP buff or should get another Gorilla and then AoE everything or maybe other pet suggestions?

I'm also asking if the 80 Heroics could be done with just 4 Chars, I'm just asking because I'm going to Quadbox, because one of my friends is playing on that Server, (the reason why I'm doing the 2 Hunters btw) So full line up would be:
Hunter (BM)
Hunter (BM)
Drood (Tree)
DK (???)

So if my friend isn't online and I can't find someone else, could I run heroics?

My guess is yes, but I'm not quite sure^^

Gorilla + Wolf would be my first thought.

You usually can't under-man heroics unless you over-gear them. Obviously there are exceptions - hell, you can 3-man that Naxx-25 boss given the right group and sufficient patience - but in general it's not going to happen. Maybe when they fix elemental summon totems?

I just thought because a Hunter is with his/her Pet a good DD, times 2 even better, and a DK is Damaging(not just a bit as I have read a few times) while Tanking And the Druid is a Mana efficient Healer.

Of course is the Gear more than important. But I geuss with a few epix , I'll definetly (that's wrong I guess) try that out.

You know, half the cool tricks around here like 5x ele shaman runs with totem tanks? Nobody thought it could be done until someone showed up here with a vid of it happening. So most things are worth making a try at, even if they seem unlikely. Just remember to report back if you find out something good. :D

Two gorillas...the point of one is to tank, to hold threat off the group. A second gorilla's individual threat would be similar to the first's. So...if you're pulling threat off the first, then most of the time a second won't do anything for you. If you're not, then the second is usually useless. So the AP boost from a Wolf (or some other pet that brings something good to table?) will probably help much more than a second Gorilla would in most circumstances. It's the same for almost all 5-man content - one tank can be essential, but two is usually a waste of a slot.

But again...try it. Especially if you can find one to tame that doesn't need extensive leveling first. Pet slots are abundant these days...what's it going to hurt to try?

I just did it(2 Gorillas), and Compared to the Wolf/Gorilla It's Kinda Cool, if both have the first ability out of the Pet Tree, Which allows that the next Attack gets +25% AP than Stomp 2 times and every Mob (single and even 2-3 lvl above) loses between ~30-20% Instantly, It's cool, I Just shoot with my Arcane shot(to start the fight) and the cooldown isn't fast enough for the mob dying. ---that was a weird sentence hope it was right ?!---

Con: My Max crit is a bit decreased from ~270 to ~255 and I guess that in long fights (single Target) The Wolf/Gorilla would be the better choice, but their is nothing that's standing long enough to benefit from that. (just my Opinion) It's Insane to AoE Grind Mobs without getting aggro. I Like it^^

Current Speccs:
Main:
10/14/0 Marksmanship (hope it's the right word, the middle tree) 14 pt. for Aimed Shot and Improved Huntermark. Maybe I'm respeccing to Survival.

Toon:
Just BM every Point

Pet Trees of course More Stamina and this Ability (don't know the name in english, not even in german 8| )


It's insane really, I did Graveyard in 25 Minutes (first time, was just seeing what I could do) got it in 15 Min in the second run , just my 2 Hunter on 32 I love them.

What will the cat contribute that's more useful than a fairly continuous 158 AP buff at 80 (?) to both hunters and both pets?

I think worms (exotic) might be worth examining for the stacking armor debuff. Minus 3925 if you get the full five stacks on.

Have 2 Gorilla's AND and Wolf.

Use the 2 apes when the situation calls for 2 tanks and use the doggie when you need the extra DPS.

2 Gorillas for sure. What I did is get my main's gorilla to gather a group of 8-10 mobs and then I would get the other pets to go in. Multishot to death. On the odd occasion where the main gorilla would die there was still 2 of them to pick up the slack. They also do insane damage with their stomp if you have multiple mobs.

I'm doing a Pet reroll when I'm doing heroics, to benefit more from their abilities, this is just for lvling n stuff, and it's fun *hehe*

I've read a lot about the pets, and I guess the worm would be really nice to add some extra DPS in my team (for Boss fights), + the Wolf (or anything else, but I'm going to try it )

It's so much fun with my 2 Hunters ^^ I'm going to play now ^^
