Hello,
First of this is my first appearance to the forums to post. But anyways - I went up to six boxing ==Svpernova09 Edit== (doing 4 shamans - 2ele/2resto, 1 holy priest, and a balance druid) and enjoyed it, taking much attention to detail on perfecting everything. But now to the main point; I'm going to retail and dropping down to three to be reasonable when it comes to hitting 80 and raiding.
For the leveling process I will be joined by one friend whom at the given time is believe to be set on making a tank. I was thinking of doing a two ele sham and one holy priest set-up to level with and upon reaching 80 making them all resto and going crazy healer wild-style - BUT - now I am being torn to possibly splice it to be one paladin, one shaman, and one priest. If I go with this style I have a few leveling choices; thinking paladin healer, shadow priest, and elemental shaman (if my friend is going to be tanking), OR, upon getting urged, should I go with a prot paladin, priest healer, and elemental shaman (or shadow priest, shaman healer) and let him play his class as DPS? I wish to hear some opinions on this from those who know the endgame outlook that is in play right now.
So to sum it up, I've got a few options in mind.
1) Two shamans (ele), one priest (holy/disp) - friend tanking
2) Two shamans (ele), one paladin (holy) - friend tanking
3) One Paladin (holy), one priest (shadow), one shaman (ele) - friend tanking
4) One Paladin (prot), one priest (shadow), one shaman (resto) - friend as DPS
5) One Paladin (prot), one priest (holy/disp), one shaman (ele) - friend as DPS
If you are knowledged and have the input on any that have a greater end game turn out, then by all means suggest to me your opinions, even if they are with classes I haven't listed. Just know that I likely intend to be having all three characters turn healing at 80, or at least two of them.
