Well I don't know about you all but the SoH quest suck. Mostly because a chunk of them are all gather quests. So now you got to wonder, farm gathering quest every freaking day till exalted OR level inscriptions to 400 and get that omega awesome and better then exalted with SoH shoulder enchants?

SoH Pros: make gold while doing dailies
SoH Cons: Takes forever, enchants cost a lot

Inscription Pros: Better then SoH shoulder enchants by about double, Cheaper to make the enchants
Inscription Cons: Cost a lot to level to 400 inscriptions

So just stick with SoH since inscription is in my opinion a fairly lousy profession

But guess how much their gonna cost with everyone trying to buy them and there aren't that many of them from what i've found

Sons of Hodir FAR AND AWAY. Blizzard has shown time and time again professions lag everything else in patches. In 6 months you will be exalted, even if you just do a single SoH quest every day, and can have good professions on your team that help you out.

FWIW I'm nearly exalted on my pally (about 10k away), 2 others are almost revered, 2 others are still friendly (just do 1-2 dailies on them). My strat is simple - every day I fly to SoH via taxi, and I pick up the horns quest on everyone. I pick character and do the hot/cold one, its actually fairly easy since one person only has to collect all the ice shards and use them on the vents, anyone can loot the result quest item (including other players! lol) so sometimes I'll collect 10 shards and 2 people will do that quest. When you hit honored I think you get a multibox friendly quest to find 3 dwarf guys by the wolf, that is very easy and takes 5 minutes. At revered you get another quest to kill 5 worm things that is also multibox friendly. The collect 5-oils is kind of sucky, but if the area isn't camped the oil blobs spawn REALLY fast and you can collect 15-25 in just a few minutes -- I usually do at least one, sometimes 2, 3-5 as my mood fits. Lastly at revered you get a quest to fight a dragon on its back, gotta do it solo but its a LOT OF FUN so I don't mind doing it x3 every day.

I do have inscription on one of my chars (resto shaman) but he's only 420 inscription, couldn't be arsed to level to 450 lol. I get a point a day from the discover recipe.
