    Default PVP movement boxing style

So i know from my single box days that keyboard turning is bad mkay. I also know from my multi-boxing that i need a way to move my toons facing all at once... i have done this with the binding keys for right and left turn on my alts... but this is absolutely keyboard turning. I want a faster way to do this. Is there a way to set up so that with a key press my mouse switches to turning my four alts? Is there a way to set up a second mouse where all it does is control turning movement on my alts?

So that is my thinking on some solutions to melee in my face where i can't target.

I should also ask for what your strategies are? Sometimes there maybe more than one melee in my (our) faces at once. This is because i play on a carebear server and so if i am pvp flagged they can ride right up into my face and then flag. Of course last night the lone ally pally at level 80 (in good but not great gear by the look of it... blue not purple) who was trying to gank horde in the pit with the spiders in BT. I am not sure how she was planning on getting them to flag. She danced around me /lol and /spit... maybe that is how. Anyway i have five so its her failure to pick her fights. I totem... EM... flag and then nuke... i had to kill her a couple times as she kept coming back... my guys where 68 so the level difference probably bothered her.

I could put down Magma and only try to shock and heal? Still shock needs a CD and facing req. Maybe i just need to use a bigger spread out macro? From those who have had some experience... or just some groovy ideas... what now?

I have used my pally stun to set up my facing req even with the slow keyboard turning.

Doesn't matter if you are on a pvp server or pve you will have to deal with players dropping into the middle of your group. Learn to start kiting them as soon as you see they are going to run into the group. Drop whatever slow/stun you have and move away before you try to cast. If you have a knockback use it as they are trying to close with you again.

My thunderstorm rotation is set up so 1 shammy is purging, 1 is dropping a earthbind totem, 1 is frostshocking and another is dropping thunderstorm. Soon as I hit that I move away in the opposite direction and do the fishhook maneuver. Your tactic for dealing with "ritalin kids" in your group will depend on your class makeup of course.

Thanks. I will have to make some more PVP geared macros. I will look to see if there is a way my bars can change when i am in pvp mode with macaroon... either way i clearly need more PVP macros.

Have your tried the whole "drop magma" and heal and shock thing? If so how has it worked? I used this when i was in bg pvp in the 60's bracket and it worked ok for me there but i haven't tried it much since.

In my last encounter it was 5 or 6 of them and the 5 of me. I got sick of the holier than thou druids in BT and when i was flagged red cause a boy animal attacked me i attacked the camp. Went very well and i downed them until the debuff wore off. It also flagged me pvp and so a ally nelf warrior charged in. I blasted him dead and moved on. He came back and managed to kill one of my guys before i killed him. He was 76 i think. I am 69 through 71 on my toons. I instant life and heal and drink. He comes back again and attacks but then runs into the camp. I almost got him but he ran away. NP. Then he came back with a group... lol. There was quite a few ally there not with him but made me uneasy... so i mounted and rode off a distance before they could flag or attack.

Warrior and a mob of DK followed. I got enough distance to stop and set up totems and face them before they got to me and i killed them all... the nelf warrior first... but some of the DK where unholy and came back at ghoul when i started blasting them with my pally... they got wise and exploded... i was too close together... spread out i was, but not enough... and i got hit by two Dk bombs and a few of my guys died. They were making their way back to rez by then... so kill the nelf again... but then an ally healer showed up too and i had most my guys killed and they took me out.

    Spread out macro more FTW.

Any sense on if the mouse turning for my alts will work?

I am pretty sure i grounding totem on their death grip... if so... FTW!

Do you use 5 buttons for your rotation? My thunderstorm is on round robin but I cannot think of a way to have them do all that other stuff unless I had 5 keys bound.

If your Thunderstorm is normally something to the effect of:
    /castsequence Thunderstorm,,,
    /castsequence ,Thunderstorm,,
    /castsequence ,,Thunderstorm,
    /castsequence ,,,Thunderstorm

You'd modify it to read (Substitute whatever you use to target):
/castsequence [target=party1target] Thunderstorm, Earthbind Totem, Purge, Frost Shock
/castsequence [target=party1target] Earthbind Totem, Purge, Frost Shock, Thunderstorm
/castsequence [target=party1target] Purge, Frost Shock, Thunderstorm, Earthbind Totem
/castsequence [target=party1target] Frost Shock, Thunderstorm, Earthbind Totem, Purge
