Arena theorycrafting - 2-target split nukes

Flame + Lava + EMCL + ES:
(1200 + 7000 + 5000 + 1500) * 2 = 29400

It seems possible to kill two targets with one nuke. Split them up with focus.
Anything that can be gained by this? Just seems like an interesting idea, to scare their 2 top dps to go defensive. What you think?

all in all it's complicated.
u have to worry about hitting 2 target when they can be: running around... getting out of LoS... its very confusing BUT ! imagine that in OG arena without grounding totem on the other side ? would be great, but how fast can we focus ?

Focus works fine as far as targeting goes. The issue seems to be using focus to target Hex, although I'm not sure why that would be.

The other issue for focus, is that we could be targeting Toon A with another toon (Toon B) as the focus on all of our shamans. Toon B would observe that no shamans were targeting her and think they were safe. Then suddenly target=focus nukes would land and Toon B would be dead before anyone could react. If we need to preface our Lava Burst with a Flame Shock on the focus target, we're giving them warning of what is coming, which defeats the purpose of Focus in this context. This is what a lot of people mean when they say focus is broken.

Seems to me that you assume 0 resilience, nothing mitigated through talents (is there a class that has no dmg reduce in their pvp spec?), and every spell hits without getting missed,silenced,interuppted etc.

I doubt very much that you will be successfull with this tactics.
