The last thing the enemy will see is my Muzzle Flash of Freedom!
I see a huge buff in pvp as far as battlegrounds go... Because usually it's a 10v10 skirmish ... In that case the extended crit will help
This looks like blizz "fixing" the Shaman itemization issue by nerfing a talent. This will make crit relevant again, which is a good thing. afaik haste/crit was underpowered for shaman and we didn't get any spell power buffs from stats either -- so it does help start to address the itemization issue by making stats more relevant.
for pvp -- same as everyone else - bg/wintergrasp is a boon and arena it will hurt. but arena will likely hurt until characters are not so squishy again.
Hmm well in PvE I must be doing something wrong as I gemmed for hit first (shamans sorely lack it through talents) and I have only 15% crit. Now I have a crapton of spell power and some haste (eh it's an ok stat). Haste I feel is really a lame stat and unless the buff how much % haste it gives per rating point I will always go for crit before haste. Not to mention shamans have a bunch of plateaus where more haste actually drops your dps. Now as for EM, think of it this way: If you are already high on crit (40+) the popping EM will mean 60% chance of critting... which imo is pretty damn good odds that you get a crit anyways AND it lasts more than one spell. The big IF: if it can be dispelled then its stupid and definitely a nerf.
