Thus far I went 0 and 3 and let me just say that was TOUGH haha

the team I went up against was

2 shammy
1 priest
1 DK
1 Warrior


I just got ROFL stomped it was rough. now granted I have REALLY crap gear so that being said im not surprised lol I just went in to that fight all full of theory crafting and left with my bubble burst.

Any tips and tools of the trade that I should know about?

I got stomped pretty bad tonight, my optimism quickly seeped into pessimism as the night went on. If your not a ret paly / dk / rogue or mage, then your not on a winning team ><

I assume you're running 5 shammies and not 4 + separate healer?

Your gear is really bad. There's a lot of quest & BOE blues you can get that would be a significant upgrade to what you have. Have a look at my guide here:

Also I see your exalted with the Warsong Offensive - which means you can get this shield - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38462 and this head enchant - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44702 - both of which would be a significant upgrade to you.

I have not started my arena yet this week. Its going to be hell I already know it. Just look at this video and see why its going to blow.

This kinda remindes me from the days ive just dinged 70 and went into the bgs with 7k hp.. Now im sitting at 13,5k against most players who have 20k!

The classes i struggle with!

Rogues - One of my shamans actually was dead before i managed to lesser healing wave him, i pretty much end up spam healing lesser vs a mutilate rogue as the damage is just insane.
Ret paladin - Only the ones that is well geared.

Muti rogues do have nerfs incomming and we all know that Ret Paladins relie ALOT on critting so they will not be so strong when i get my resillience up.

DeathKnights aint hard at all if i get deathgrip absorbed by groundings.

I would like to point out that this was from the SOTA.

However the aoe damage is in my opinion out of hand.. No one even bothers to focus fire anymore even against singel targets.

Might be worth speccing enchance for a week or so just to do the 8 x ghost wolfs. Pop that and sham rage and hope you can kill 1 or 2 guys before they kill you. Least then all you have to do is mop up.

Im not really looking forward to arena, Last time i only got into arena at the end of S4 as id only just hit 70. So that was a fun lesson in 10 losses a week for about 6 weeks.
Im sure it will get better as gear disparity is reduced anyway.

You only have to go to a BG to realise that multiboxing shaman isnt what it used to be in TBC. When i get wiped out in 2 seconds flat in situations where i could have survived back in TBC it kinda shows how much its changed. At the moment my view might be a little clouded but the only reason why i've not cancelled my accounts is A) im making some decent gold doing the daily quests and B) im stubborn and i'm hoping blizz will start tweaking things to get it balanced again.

What rating have you guys gotten to and what kind of records so far? I still haven't done arena yet this week , just been farming up honor in BGs
