Upcomming Elemental mastery changes
As some of you may know blizzard about to kill elemental mastery (At least in a pvp scenario). I am suggesting that they do not change it. Please post in the following thread to help reach out to blizzard and hopefully prevent this change

Sorry but the new elemental mastery is 10x better for PvE and so I'll take the new one over the old one :P

Yea it is, however it means we are good deal worse in PvP. I'm torn atm on whether I really want to do arena this time around. It was a lot of frustration and barely worth the effort(for me as I didnt get very high in ratings.)

I've always been frustrated by Blizz nerfing PvE skills for the sake of PvP balance, so at least they're giving SOMETHING back, but yeah this really hurts the class for PvP where it was already hurting IMO (single boxer PvP perspective).
Despite the stunlock issues it's just going to get purged/dispelled within a couple of seconds so you'll be lucky to get one cast off with 20% extra chance to crit.... gg...

Thinking about it.. why not take flameshock OFF the global cooldown instead? As a 2 set bonus on the pvp gear?
It DOES give a certain dps increase and sure as hell makes the use of lavaburst alot easier if you can.
Flameshock then start lavaburst rigth after!

Fact of Life: After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says W T F.
What I don't understand is why they just don't make a new glyph to alter the effect of Elemental Mastery to the new proposed increased crit over time mechanism. Then people could choose the classic (PvP) verus new (PvE) style. This seems like an obvious solution to me.
Current team: Shnoght (DK) + 4 elemental shamans (Shalph, Sheta, Shamma, Shepsilon)
Heroics cleared: Drak'Tharon, VH, CoS, UK, Gundrak, HoL, Nexus
Waiting in the wings at 80: Shaladin (pally), Shmage (mage), Shruud/Shrued (boomkins), Shelta (leftover shaman)
