Did any of you read the post on yahoo today about Brock pierce. He was the kid who stared in the movie First kid with sinbad lol. Well anyways since we all must dual or tri quad or 5 box why not making from it. He introduced the idea of it and was making good money from it. Why cant we take our obbsession from what we do and make it a real life job. I know its against the rules and this is where you copy paste and put in your comments lol. But say if you had an entirely different account one to send the gold to and post all the auctions and stuff, do you think it would be a visiable means of extra income considering there are lots of people like 10 million who play the game to sell to. What about bush. I was in the military when he came into office nothing came good from him. Ive seen to many of my friends and fellow military members die because of him. Then the economic situation was because of him also. Clinton had us close to being out of debt and cause of the war and BUSH he put us back into it grrrrrr. But anyways thanks because being back in school and not really able to find anything good to do atm i thought hmm gold=cash. Find out how i can do it i can make some good enough money to get by i hope doing something i love doing and thats playing wow.

You have seen many of your friends die because of war, not because of Bush. If you wish to blame someone, blame all of them. Lets start with the intelligence agencys that fucked up and reported bad intel, lets blame congress, including Hillary and John Kerry for oking it, lets blame the actualy BAD GUYS who shot your buddies. Bush took what he had on the table and made a call and it was backed by congress. Sorry... not Bush's Sole fault. Deal with it.

The economy... we had a major terrorist attack, it hurt us. It took 2+ years for Bush to even be able to get his economic plan in place, and by that time things were already slowing down. Had dem's let him get his plan in from the start, sure it might be his fault... but they didnt. Dem's have also had majority for quite some time after promising fixing things... and still we are where we are. If anything this is a GROUP of peoples faults on both sides, but then again its popular to blame Bush. Go take an economics class or two, take a look at the republican economic policy of cutting taxes and shrinking govt, and then take a look at Obama's policy of taxation in a recession and increasing govt, after you are done with Intro to econ both macro and micro you let me know who you thinks right.

Do I think Bush was awsome? No... I dont. He made mistakes he didnt do a lot of things I wanted him to do, and did a lot of things I didnt want him to do... but what president hasnt. Its fairly well known that economys on the macro scale take quite some time to shift, its not something that a president can step in and fix and in a year or so claim responsibility for. In fact... most of the time its not till the next president gets in office that we can see the benefits of the prior president... but I wont argue that as its a whole bloody paper with refrences all the way back to carter.

While we are blaming people, why not blame the banks for giving loans to people THEY NEW damn well wouldnt be able to pay them due to the credit checks. Lets also blame the idiots who took mortgages at adjustable rates they couldnt afford and are now crying about it.

Instead we want to blame Bush, we want the govt to fix it, and whine bitch and moan. Half the issue we are in now is American peoples own fault for shoddy lending practices... but then again, lets just blame Bush...

You're stupid and poorly informed. Read up on some history and as someone else suggested, take an economics class. I'm really, really tired of you morons blaming everything on Bush as if the Democrat shit don't stink. The whole crisis was set in motion back in Cater's administration and worsened under Clinton's. Bush and the Republicans share the blame, but look to the Democrats first, particularly Barney Frank and his banking commitee. If anyone deserves some blame, it is him. you cant do it with wow legally.

Any form of gold selling or character selling will get you banned if caught, and blizzard logs everything. Could it be done? Sure, but you would need many accounts not linked by name, credit cards, or ip addresses, and you would still lose tons of inventory due to stings.

If you were to keep your business small... dealing with hundreds and not thousands of gold you might be able to stay below radar...longer... but imo its just not worth the risk.

I did quite a bit of RMTing back with UO, AC, EQ, Shadowbane, and DAOC... but quite honestly the time investment per buck isnt worth it anymore. Most of the time now the dollar you make per hour isnt even close to minimum wage... and the only way to compete with the chinese sellars is to have extensive uses of macros and bots.

As someone who has messed around with bots in other games specifically for the purpose of rmting I gotta say its rarely worth it.

IGE and others like them really just screwed the pooch for small college students wanting to get a buck here and there... and quite honestly RMT has changed from the non intrusive version it used to be back in 1997 - 2003. Now its all about spamming, cheating, botting, and stealing.

So... like I said, only way for this to work legally and effectively is with Eq2 atm. Why? Well EQ2 limits the sellers to NA, so you dont have to deal with South america and asia as competitors keeping the price per coin fairly high. With the prices artifically inflated you can actually make better than minimum wage.

There's a guy on there thats been making over 100k a year selling EQ2 gold... but he runs 24 man box raids and imo its more work than its worth, guys a machine and on 24/7. However, even EQ2's prices have started to get down to the dollar per plat range... and it wont be long maybe another year max before its just to small a margin with to few of a player base.

If there was a way to restrict supply to just NA wow would be an option... but 12 hours of work for 5 bucks with the risk of losing all your accounts... just not worth it to me.

As someone sitting in Iraq working for one of those "Intelligence Agencies" all I can say is: You really don't have a clue.

Yes, you were in the military, thats great. Do you have any idea the amount of threats and tips we get of things about to happen? Almost all of them credible. We simply cannot act on even a 100th of the amount of info we recieve.
Hindsight is 20/20, its easy to pick someone apart for making the wrong choice many years down the road. He was given intel, which he has to trust. He as well as Congress acted upon that intel. So now that everyone "knows" that WMD's were "not found." Its easy to place blame on him. I mean, everyone else is doing it why shouldn't you?
