We have something similar in Australia called a cent-o-meter (maybe the same thing, just different branding)
Had a google for some linkies but just found a lot of people talking about it yet no definate purchase points - I assume they are available through your local energy retailer if anyone wants to try one in oz
I have the same thing as Fur linked to at home. It's nice to find out when something is drawing way more power than it should and blowing out breakers in the electrical box. I give it [img]../forum/images/smilies/thumbsup.png[/img]

APC has some cool UPS's with readouts on them as well. I purchased 2 of them, very handy as I get the short (2-5 second) power outtage when the wind kicks up where i love.
